Palace Post Match Thread 1 - 0

The BBC write up calling it a poor game, thought it was a cracking first half to be fair. Not a lot of outright chances but we played some terrific football. Can only assume it was written by a palace fan.

We put together a couple of great moves today which didn't really lead to anything.

I'd not been to a game since Bournemouth before today and I was struck by how much better we moved the ball than I can remember.

Mid-table, now 6 pts behind us, after 10 games.Well, well, well Claudio.

Vardy cheeky chappy making history.

For the ones that can...City v palace on skys SNF choice at 10pm.

Also looking forward to Hammers beating the pensioners at 8pm

Now lets see Palace beat Manu next week.

City vs Pullis ..away ( many posters favourite for city job, not mine) up next.

Peg them back good November run, then xmas will be kind.

No, not sure he offers much but it's certainly safety first with Simpson. It makes it harder to progress forward as a team hence so many long balls in that first half.

Kante is crucial to this teams success.

Our midfield now is full of bite, energy, quickness and tenacity.

Exactly what the this team needed and how a Premiership midfield should be.

It's making so much difference this season.

haha pardew what a melt "ooh mummy dont invite him round he was mean to me" get fu cked you stupid pri ck

vardys goal was class. sums us up atm. mahrez should take a touch, think about what to do next and get tackled. first time on the volley through ball. vardy should scuff a shot wide or get tackled. chips the keeper, holds off his man and finishes. WE ARE BOSS.

also ive seen none of the game bar the goal, but as i said pre game and even pre season, palace need a striker better than either gayle or frazier f ucking campbell if they expect to challenge teams like us at the top.

Kante was a warrior and Drinkwater was so composed and our driving force. Superb gritty win and I'm delighted. Fuchs is quality and Simpson is playing at his optimum right now. He might not be good enough long term to be our right back but he's givin every ounce he's got so I can't argue with that.

We've taken 41 points from our last 19 games - that's 82 points over a whole season, which would've got you 2nd place last year, over half a season!!!! That's just ridiculous.

We're the famous Leicester City and we're going to Kazakhstan...

And suddenly, I don't feel so enthusiastic with the prospect of us finishing 5th...

Totally agree bud Kante my MOTM today and DD so much improvement. Quality all over pitch, pace, togetherness and never say die attitude!

What's not to like? :)

Mahrez was marked well today, but that pass was fantastic and not many players could make it.

Palace mate crying about 2 'nailed on pens' they should have had. Didn't watch the game so does he have a case?

Nah even Pardew said there was nothing the handball shout, Zaha went between two players and Fuchs stuck his leg out then pulled it away, there was thigh on thigh contact, but not much and Zaha was clearly looking for it and theatrically threw himself to the ground, daft thing about is if he had tried to stay in his feet he would have been in a great position.

We've all seen those given and not given, interesting to see what motd team think about it.

Every week so far humble pie for the pundits.

How many of you have or are eating Pizzas tonight...

Had pizza last night ... I just knew my support deserved it in advance :D

Really impressed with Simpson today, not the nicest character off the pitch but hard to argue that he isn't our best option at RB at the moment. Also love Fuchs, Kante and DD unreal yet again, happy bloody days! :D

I'd prefer him a lot more on the pitch if he played the ****ing ball forward once or twice
