FireFox Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 No Rachel, Lawro presicting a win, do we have any lucky omens left? King Dick
Loggy88 Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 First time I've ever agreed with Lawro, be a tight game but I can see us nicking it.
My Nads Posted 23 January 2016 Posted 23 January 2016 Always rated Lawro It only took him 22 games into the season to realise, so getting one right now is nothing to be proud of, Lawro you nob!
M0901 Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 Well, he's now predicted us to win 2-1 tomorrow The end is nigh!
Super_horns Posted 5 March 2016 Posted 5 March 2016 We'd be 2nd bottom and West Ham 3rd bottom I think if his predictions were right..
Carl the Llama Posted 19 March 2016 Posted 19 March 2016 He's at it again: Crystal Palace v Leicester Leicester remain on course for the title after taking 10 points from a possible 12 in some awkward fixtures in the past few weeks. Norwich, West Brom, Watford and Newcastle look easy on paper but they aren't, especially at this stage of the season. I don't see the Foxes winning all their remaining games, however, and I just have a sneaking suspicion they will have a little hiccup here. Crystal Palace remain on an awful run in the league but I watched them against Reading in the FA Cup last weekend and I think they can cause Leicester some problems. Lawro's prediction: 2-1 Cram's prediction: Being a Sunderland fan I am not sure Palace are safe yet and would love them to be dragged into the relegation battle. I want Leicester to win the title and my heart and my head says 0-2http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/35798388
Aus Fox Posted 19 March 2016 Posted 19 March 2016 The fact he has Leicester, Watford and West Ham in the bottom 5 and continues to pick all three to lose or draw each week tells you all you need to know about Lawro. Also In his table Liverpoool are still undefeated and Chelsea have a shot at the title...
biggs Posted 19 March 2016 Posted 19 March 2016 He's no different to most. Listening to these half wits you'd think we were chasing Spurs all season.
MC Prussian Posted 19 March 2016 Posted 19 March 2016 At the end of the season, Lawro will come out and claim it was all just a hoax with his predictions and he never meant it this way... ... apart from the Liverpool FC results, of course!
Tuna Posted 19 March 2016 Posted 19 March 2016 Someone said on here that Danny Mills needed chinning and firing...I think the same applies to Lawro!
Bryn Posted 19 March 2016 Posted 19 March 2016 Dunno why you all get your knickers in a twist about it so much. He's a clown.
Loggy88 Posted 19 March 2016 Posted 19 March 2016 He is a terrible pundit so I wouldn't get annoyed with his predictions. He lives in the past whe Liverpool won everything
ithuriel Posted 19 March 2016 Posted 19 March 2016 The BBC's Lawrometer, as predictably correct as the weather service.
Górnik Leicester Posted 19 March 2016 Posted 19 March 2016 Maybe Lawrenson is superstitious, and predicts defeat for us as he wants us to win and is scared of jinxing it. Or maybe not...
J.Lisemore Posted 19 March 2016 Posted 19 March 2016 Lawro's reason on predicting us to lose ever week - "just got a feeling"
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 19 March 2016 Posted 19 March 2016 "I just have a sneaking suspicion" Fvck off you berk.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 19 March 2016 Posted 19 March 2016 Bang on again today we scored one and palace got... . oh wait...
ceredigion Posted 19 March 2016 Posted 19 March 2016 Worst pundit of all time. If he'd been around in the 1920s he's have been one of those people claiming that televisions would never catch on.
Donut Posted 19 March 2016 Posted 19 March 2016 Its his constantly sarcastic, patronising, boring and insight-less commentary and punditry i hate more. I cant listen to the man, he reduces everything he commentates on to this.

ceredigion Posted 19 March 2016 Posted 19 March 2016 I've just obtained an exclusive, sneak preview of Lawro's thoughts on our title run-in. For those who are interested, here it is. BBC: We asked our resident football expert, Mark Lawrenson, to cast his eye over Leicester City's unlikely Premier League title challenge and predict just how the season will end up for Claudio Ranieri's Foxes. LAWRO: Leicester have surprised a few people this season with some of their results and I've been impressed with them myself once or twice when I've seen them on MOTD. I certainly wasn't one of those pundits who thought they'd go down this year but they've exceeded my expectations so far. BBC: So how do you see their remaining fixtures panning out Mark? LAWRO: Well, they've done well up to now, but they've got some tricky looking matches coming up and I think the pressure on them will begin to tell. Leicester v Southampton - Ronald Koeman has done a brilliant job at Southampton and his team consistently punch above their weight. The game earlier this season ended 2-2 and that's how I expect it to finish this time too. Sunderland v Leicester - The Black Cats are in a relegation dogfight, make no mistake. But in Big Sam Allardyce they have a manager who knows how to mastermind a survival battle. I see Sunderland winning this one 1-0 with a late winner from Jermain Defoe. Leicester v West Ham - The Hammers have been another of this season's surprise packages and they've done well in the FA Cup as well. And in Payet, they've got my player of the season. I think West Ham have got enough to win this game 1-2. Leicester v Swansea - Swansea looked in real trouble a couple of months ago and what happened to Gary Monk was very unfortunate. But the Swans have steadied the ship in recent weeks under my old mate Alan Curtis and I have a sneaking feeling they'll get something at the King Power. I won't push the boat out for a Swansea win but I think they'll get a draw there. 0-0 Man Utd v Leicester - Louis van Gaal hasn't silenced all the critics yet and some results have been disappointing to say the least but Old Trafford is always a difficult place to go to. I don't think United will quite have clinched a Champions League place by the time this fixture comes around so they'll have plenty still to play for and more than enough to beat a team like Leicester. United to win 4-0. Leicester v Everton - What a Jekyll and Hyde club Everton are. World class one week and Rymans League the next. But it's always been that way on Merseyside. So which Everton will turn up for this match? It was Mr Hyde in the game at Goodison Park which Leicester won 3-2. Everton's players might be wanting to catch Roberto Martinez' eye with a possible FA Cup final appearance on their minds, so i think Dr Jekyll will visit the East Midlands and inflict a reverse of December's scoreline. Everton to win 2-3. Chelsea v Leicester - Chelsea have flattered to deceive all season but they're still a massive club and their players will be keen to put one over their former manager (whose name escapes me for the moment). They've got nothing to play for so the pressure will be off and I fully expect them to sign off the season in style. Chelsea to win 5-0. BBC: So your final verdict Mark. LAWRO: Strong finishes from the 2 Manchester clubs and Arsenal will pick up enough points to claim a top 4 spot. But I just have a funny feeling that this is Tottenham Hotspur's year. Liverpool are looking strong right now and I can see them doing something crazy like winning the Europa League and finishing 5th in the league. Oh, and Rafa will keep the Magpies up, no doubt about it. Newcastle are too big to go down. BBC: But what about Leicester? LAWRO: Just can't see it I'm afraid. They'll finish on 68 points which won't quite be enough for the Europa League. Having said that, finishing 6th is an amazing achievement for a club of their stature and they can be very happy with that. But if they want to take that step further, you really a need a manager who's a proven winner. Someone like Graeme Souness or John Barnes. You never know, I might have a bash at this management lark myself one of these days. BBC: Thanks Mark. See you next season. LAWRO: No worries. My pleasure.
