In terms of time played at the club and in the first team Wilf and Chilly are joint third most senior.

Of the current XI perhaps.

Of the squad, it's:

1. Kasper: 31,243 minutes

2. Wes: 26.556 minutes

3. Vardy: 21.735 minutes

4. Matty James: 14.437 minutes

5. Wilf: 9.843 minutes

6. Ben: 8.312 minutes

In fairness to Matty about 5 of those minutes have come in the last 5 years.

I mean in the starting 11 yeah. James and Wes are great for squad but hardly commanding on the pitch.

I'm sure those minutes for Matty aren't correct. That would be 160 full matches. That could be his whole career but definitely not just with us

Id have to agree, I’d be surprised if he’s played more than 100 games in total for us. Played most game for his first 2 seasons then but parts since then I think. Random guess but I’d have him on about 90 odd full games for us.

Surely Albrighton and Fuchs have played more than Ndidi? And Gray I'd imagind as well.

Barnes: Academy

Ndid: 15
Chilwell: Academy

With 65 million left over for the bench:

And 10 million kicking around to go towards Slim-Musa-Silva financial black hole.

You forgot albrighton who was another free.

I've calculated career first team minutes for Leicester City in all competions as follows;

Albrighton 12965 minutes

Fuchs 10513 minutes

Ndidi 9903 minutes

Gray 7113 minutes

And I've got Matty James on only 8269 minutes.

Kasper Schmeichel

Danny Simpson

Wes Morgan

Robert Huth

Christian Fuchs

Riyad Mahrez

Danny Drinkwater

Marc Albrighton

Jamie Vardy

The above Premier League winning players cost Leicester City £1.6m less than what Spurs just spent sacking their best manager in a generation.

RE-HIRE STEVE WALSH!!!

Interesting Leicester stats from this F365 article

Quote

Some weeks ago I rolled out stats to say Leicester weren’t a good attacking team, whereupon they went and scored nine against Southampton, which was hilarious. The Foxes’ attacking stats have improved since then. They’ve jumped from 13th to 5th in total shots, and from 18th in xG to somewhere between 11th and 14th, depending on the source.

But their shooting percentage (percentage of shots on target that go in) has become even crazier. It’s now up to 49.1%, which is nine percent higher than any team has ever recorded over a whole season. The odds on finishing with that percentage are roughly 5,000-1.

Let’s leave them on a more sustainable note: the Foxes’ defence continues to perform well. They lead the league in PPDA, are sixth in fewest deep completions allowed, and have Kasper Schmeichel leading the league in save percentage. All this with the fewest yellow cards.

Leicester City get better as matches go on.  This season our aggregate score in the first 30 mins is 5-5.  In the remaining 60 mins it's 24-3.

Thought about this the other day.

We're solid in first half, like to assert control and dominate games.

Second half, we like to step it up regardless of how the game went in the first half.

We must work a lot on fitness and energy levels to continue going in latter parts of the game. Think we're near the top for most goals scored in the last 10/15 minutes of a game. Our game management as well has improved immensely under Rodgers.

I've seen around the forum that we've scored 15 goals without conceding so I was interested to know what the record is. I couldn't find it but I did find the longest clean sheet streak which was Manchester United in 2009. In that period they scored 25 without conceding which could be the record but I'm not sure. Can anyone find out what it is? It could be a fun little one that we could break.
