M0901 Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 If he actually is out I think my order of preference for backup goes like this Ben Hamer > get Conrad Logan back > little Danish kid > kasper's dad > Jeff Schlupp > Filbert Fox > Schwarzer I'd throw Junior Lewis and Trevor Benjamin in amongst that for good measure
Guest Papasmurf Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 Schwarzer has been one of the Premier League's best goalkeepers but Hamer is better than him nowadays. Then how do you explain both Pearson and Ranieri preferring Schwarzer over Hamer??
Corky Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 He looked uncomfortable in the warm-up and was having attention from the physio and put a back support in place.
Foxes1 Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 Put Wasileski in goal no-one would try and knock him of the ball. I can just imagine him coming to collect the ball from a corner he would sort Troy Deeney out well and good.
Len Finsbury Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 I saw him wrapping something like a weightlifters belt around his middle before the start of the game on Tuesday; I've not noticed that before and now wonder if it is related. When I was watching the game, I thought he had some kind of wrapping around him. You could make it out beneath his shirt
filbertway Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 Then how do you explain both Pearson and Ranieri preferring Schwarzer over Hamer?? I think they don't like Hamer's beard. There's not a chance in hell Schwarzer is anywhere close to our keepers. He can probably claim a cross better than Kasper but I expect he'd be embarassed if required to play.
goose2010 Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 Would explain why Iverson was out for the warm up for the West Brom game as well he must be registered as well. I would have faith in big Mark to step up to be honest, the management team must trust in him to and they haven't got a lot wrong this year!
Stevosevic Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 Having to play MS for a string of games could genuinely cost us a title.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 When I was watching the game, I thought he had some kind of wrapping around him. You could make it out beneath his shirt Did think he looked a bit fat all of a sudden!
Fox92 Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 Then how do you explain both Pearson and Ranieri preferring Schwarzer over Hamer?? I heard they flip a coin.
Jimmy Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 Just remembered that our only back up is 97 years old. I fvcking hope nothing in it-otherwise that's the title right there... Ben Hamer retired has he?
Len Finsbury Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 Did think he looked a bit fat all of a sudden! That did cross my mind initially
Oxfordfox83 Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 Ben Hamer retired has he? On loan isn't he? He certainly hasn't graced the bench for a very long time, even after MS's mistakes.
Jimmy Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 On loan isn't he? He certainly hasn't graced the bench for a very long time, even after MS's mistakes. been back for ages but wasn't on the prem list before January, would expect he was added in January as cover
Jace Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 Bring back Conrad Logan to save the day and win us the title, lets make this the greatest story of all time.
Webbo Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 It'd be nice for Kasper to get a medal of his own after he's been over shadowed by his dad for all his career. Also has any father and son both won a PL/top flight medal before?
MonmoreStef Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 I saw Mark Wallington in the Highcross last week. He could do a job for us.
Len Finsbury Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 Bring back Conrad Logan to save the day and win us the title, lets make this the greatest story of all time. Make an even better movie than Vardy's
Guest bss9401 Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 It's absolutely shocking that we are talking about MS being in goal for us while we attempt to achieve the biggest success in our history. We have all seen how his ability has declined when he played the cup games. Back up goalkeepers should be capable of challenging for a first team spot so why leave ourselves so weak in such a crucial playing position? There is no point in KS playing whilst he is injured so I pray that this decision has not come back to haunt us.
Mad Dog Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 It'd be nice for Kasper to get a medal of his own after he's been over shadowed by his dad for all his career. Also has any father and son both won a PL/top flight medal before? Ian Wright / Shaun Wright-Phillips?
theessexfox Posted 19 March 2016 Posted 19 March 2016 5 Live reckoned he didn't celebrate and limped down the tunnel, pointing to his foot
Fox 4 Life Posted 19 March 2016 Posted 19 March 2016 Hopefully it's just to get some ice on it. Does he have games for Denmark?
Jace Posted 19 March 2016 Posted 19 March 2016 Perfect time for an international break, everything is just falling into place perfectly
GLC Posted 19 March 2016 Posted 19 March 2016 Perfect time for an international break, everything is just falling into place perfectly couldn't have said it better myself!
