Kasper Schmeichel

Kasper was pure class today, I loved it when he smiled after making some crucial saves near the end... Such a pity he didn't get even one point out of this game, but no keeper in the world would.

boss save and boss how much he was laughing about it after.

for the save he dives and extends his arm before giroud even hits it. is he a mind reader

Great save today but his kicks keep flying out of touch.

I'm getting the sense this is generally by design - it happens too often to be a coincidence.

Consider the things Claudio has improved on, if he didn't want his kicks going there, he'd have done something about it. His kicking out slows the game down (two restarts in succession), gets us up the pitch and we have a chance to pinch possession from the throw in.

That save was one of the best bits of football I've ever seen.

Dogs bollocks at shot stopping. Needs to kick wider and not as far when we're under the cosh, welcomed pressure by just giving it straight back to Cech every time

A solid performance today. I've been impressed with his performances for a while now. Made a fantastic save late on.

He was right over to us at end his pain written all over his face and body

You can tell he and the team going to Get the result next day

He was livid at the end and he was emence in the game

Legend is often a cheap word these days , but this man is well on his way to becoming a club legend one day

I think he's certainly got the potential to be a club legend here. His passion and commitment is 100% every game he plays for us. Makes some top saves as well.

But rooted to his line again. How many headers did they have in the 6 yard box? He needs to command his area, great shot stopper though, so maybe forgiven. Oh for another Peter Shilton

Distribution 1/10

I may be wrong but i think it is by design for him to boot the ball deep in their territory and out of bounds, conceding a throw.  That way we can press in packs and try to win second balls int hear half.

I was super-critical of him last season, but he's been amazing this season, I still question his kicking and distribution from time to time, way to many kick go out to touch as if he's playing rugby, it's been a big thing i've 'had against him' for years, but that's all I can pull him up for, he was immense yesterday, really kept us in the game at times then unfortunately they scored with the last kick of the match but been a key figure this season, as have many.

and probably the same message to leo when he up top. no  point in winning a flick on to no one.  better to compete and just lose the challenge and we try to pick up the defensive header around the half way line

To be fair re:distribution, I think it's a combination of him absolutely smashing the ball as far as he can, further than a lot of 'keepers, and attempting difficult kicks.

He's always so eager to start a counter for us and teams have to be alert when they have a corner. If you're a team who loves to counter, he is absolutely great for that.

I was absolutely livid with his kicking yesterday.

He doesn't have a brain. Literally conceded posession from every single goal kick by booting it and Cech collecting it. So annoying how  a seemingly simple bit of goalkeeping is holding him back. If he could manage his temperament better he'd have been playing in the Champions League by now.
