benpicko Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 Hopefully we get Musa instead rather than another 29 year old on a 4 year deal
Bluetintedspecs Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 You can all fck off, unless Micky or Fuch me Moore tell me different I'm not believing a word!
foxholecharlie Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 Prefer Musa he is for the now and the future too and seems like he wants to come, which I doubt Eder does.
Jordan Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 We'll sign a young forward in the summer if need be. We're in win now mode, chaps.
crisp packet Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 Prefer Musa he is for the now and the future too and seems like he wants to come, which I doubt Eder does. To be fair all the noise in the summer was that Kante didn't want to come? We know nothing I'll keep refreshing though... I want two forwards !
st albans fox Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 Tomorrow is Wednesday I believe the window ends Monday evening. Nothing will be done sat/sun Time for ultimatums IMO Either agree to sign or or pee off
GingerrrFox Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 I don't think we were ever serious about Eder. His agent has been doing a lot of talking to garner interest and keep the player in the media.

TrentFox Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 Classic Leicester transfer - nobody has a clue what is going on!No offence, but just because we haven't got a clue what's going on doesn't mean the club aren't completely on top of it all.
urban.spaceman Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 12 pages for nowt! SOB! Remember Aranguiz? 126 pages!

SheppyFox Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 Sky sports are suggesting inter are closer to signing him than we are now because of a player swap on loan being included.

Dan Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 As much as I'd like to think we're still looking to the future and eyeing up young talent on the cheap, I can't help but think we're in an position that we've never been in before and may never be in again. We can't afford to wait for another Vardy/Drinkwater etc to take a season or 2 to develop and find their feet in the team/league. If it takes buying a 30 year old for £10+m to win this league or even achieve top 4 then I'm all for it. Agree with this. I'm a big advocate of signing younger players but this is possibly a once in a generation chance for Leicester. We have to go for it. We could be 15 games away from the best moment in 132 years of history.

Brainy Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 The whole Aranguiz snubbing us for a better team has fueled us so far this season, this will just help us keep on top of things
thybluefox Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 http://www.sempreinter.com/2016/01/26/fcin-eder-inter-medical-on-thursday-while-soriano-is-complicated/ Looks like he's going to Inter. Next. , for every article that says he's going to Inter, there's one saying he's coming to us. Until he signs somewhere, don't believe anything you read.
DangerFox Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 Ive just seen an article on Twitter (the usual ground for crap journalism), and the newest article that came up about this suggested we'd lost out, Eder had made his decision to stay in Italy and that we were looking at other targets for this reason. http://www.irishmirror.ie/sport/soccer/transfer-news/leicester-up-15m-transfer-bid-7251371
Ric Flair Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 If you think about what sort of player could make us a better team in the short term then I think Eder fits the bill. We're a team who plays fat counter attacking football, more so than ever in recent months and our passing, build up game is quite minimal. Mahrez is being marked heavily at the minute which has led to Albrighton getting so much of the ball and unfortunately he's not quite as quick and skilful to pose a constant threat to teams. He's having a good season but there's been so many times where we've had openings down the left that amount to nothing. Eder seems ideal as a left forward who will cut in and cause havoc. With 3 very tough games coming up and Ranieri toying with 4-3-3 against the top sides then Eder Vardy Mahrez could be the ticket. Ahmed Musa can also play across the front line so again he could slot in for us or go 4-4-2 at any time. I can see why we are looking at versatile forwards right now rather than another out and out central striker. Demarai Gray will get some cameos but I'm not sure he's going to be playing a big enough part to maintain this top 4 challenge.
