Eder

Ive just seen an article on Twitter (the usual ground for crap journalism), and the newest article that came up about this suggested we'd lost out, Eder had made his decision to stay in Italy and that we were looking at other targets for this reason.

Love the vote at the bottom of this - Leicester Fans, do you need another striker... 100% yes so far. Maybe it was only me that voted?

Don't blame him for going to Inter. Fantastic club and history and gets to stay in Italy etc.

More excited by Musa that is deal anyway

I've never seen either player but from what I've read I'd take Musa as well before Eder.

Yes it looks like the player has spoken and he is staying in Italy reading between the lines but you never know - may also be thinking he will do better in the European Championships playing at home.

Musa sounds a lot more interesting although if we pay £20 million might seem bit of a panic buy - however how much is Champions League football worth to the commercial standing of a club ?

I believe the situation has relaxed somewhat, but I thought the Azzurri used to only pick players that were playing in the Italian leagues?

Agree Mint. Top of the EPL and for the first time ever players would want to come to be part of what could be football history.

At the start of January I suggested spending up to £30 million in this transfer window on a few players to try and secure this dream. I was slated and insulted.

Perhaps with a few days to go posters are beginning to see a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Ahh precious. Get over it.

If he wasn't interested I don't know why he would send his agents to talk to ours tonight

Just trying to soak up the winning mentality at the King Power Stadium and seeing what it's all about. :D

Also, the agent might be interested in offering some of his other players to the club (even though Transfermarkt doesn't state any others, that doesn't mean that he doesn't hold further mandates).

Didn't Balotelli play for them whilst at City?

Yes, but as he was saying, it's not as strict as it once was. You've got Verratti at PSG and Pelle at Southampton, Darmian at Man United, I'm sure El Shaarawy got a call up whilst at Monaco, Immobile at Dortmund/Sevilla and Giovinco at Toronto (Is it Toronoto? It's definitely one of the Canadian teams isn't it?) at the moment, just off the top of my head.

Just seen on Sky Sports that Eder prefers a move to Inter Milan. Apparently they have offered a defender sampdoria have been chasing with money on top

Let's hope he has a shit balance and it falls off.

You don't always get what you want.

N'Golo Kanté wanted to go to Marseille, but money talks, and now he's bossing the Premier League.

Charles Aranguiz wanted to go to Leverkusen and got what he wanted, only for Anderson Perry to pop up and ruin his knee with a strategically-placed divot made under cover of night.

Let's make Éder an offer he can't refuse.
