Seems fast, but his passing and shooting both seem to be erratic. Looks shocking to me. Head down, run into blind alleys. Makes Schlupp look composed. To top it all, utterly one-footed. Please don't let us pay more than we're selling Vardy for this guy!

Maybe Gyfli and Bailly too and I think we'll all be very happy, even if Vards goes. If he stays and all that happens then I'll pull a Lineker!
SecretPro Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 I've decided I don't want us to be 23m for Musa. He aint worth that, even if we get 30m (minus Fleetwoods cut) for Vardy. I can see an Akinbyi type situation here. Whilst Slimani is available I'll take him thanks.

Seen comments saying that his strike rate isn't great and that he is inconsistent. If we do get him I'd still like us to go for a proper goalscorer.

I agree, he isn't Vardy... he would be good to play with him but if Vardy goes then we certainly need a natural finisher similar to Vardy...
Ric Flair Posted 4 June 2016 Posted 4 June 2016 Callum Wilson is a natural finisher as is Andre Gray. I'd love a young English striker to take away any pain of Vardy going. I want them to challenge Vardy for England. I'd settle for Milik and Musa or Lapadula though. Or that Lucas from Deportivo.

Most of our targets are scouted for a year+ before we sign them. I highly doubt we've scouted Wilson that long (a year+), for Walsh to be sure he's the man we need. Basically for Walsh, the length of time scouting a specific player has been just as important as plucking gems out of nowhere.

I've rated Andre Gray for a long while now, and said before Burnley were promoted, he could do well in the Premier League. But like you said - Milik, Lapadula and Lucas are also good enough mentions. Slimani too.
