Vardy

Has it occurred to you that Arsenal haven't played to a way that would suit Vardy because they haven't got a striker of his type and calibur at the club?

Theo just doesn't cut it as a striker regardless of what he may think himself, but Arsen gave him a good run up top.

This is a very valid point.

However I happen to think personally that there are enough Prima donnas in the Arsenal camp that the place will be littered with baby rattles should they cater to a new signing who isnt even going to be their top wage earner...

Depends on whether its sucessful - by and large players won't mind how they're playing if it's successful. If they're winning, they look good, which equals more pound notes.

London = Smog and fumes. Leicestershire = Fresh air countryside :) Know where I prefer to live

*inhales deeply

exhales* aaahhhhhhh :D

Yep. I had also hoped that Vardy, being a Sheffield lad and it not exactly being that far from Leicester, would decide his current surroundings - as you say, fresh air and countryside - are home from home, as opposed to the loss of freedom he would feel living in London, regardless of how "trendy" the area might be.

You heard the breaking news that Top has confronted Vardy's agent?

Not sure if you are being genuine, but I do find it strange when Top came out and said about the drink thing and that his wise words made Vardy wise up.

Maybe the relationship was strained when this was quoted in the media

But made the effort to attend his wedding....it's not normal for a Chairman to attend a player's wedding

Do you really think they all live in central London?

Most players from north London clubs live in beautiful towns and villages in and around Hertfordshire.

Arsenals training ground is fairly near St Albans.

Wilshere lives in a multi million pound property in Harpenden.

I'm sure St Albans Fox and Harpenden Fox can back me up on this.

It's a lovely part of the world.

Completely blows apart the 'London's a shit hole' argument.

Maybe he had already invited him before that was released to the press

Just think, if he leaves we have less players in the England squad than Burnley :(

And you know that how? Only one we were seriously linked with was Musa, and the reports this summer is that CSKA had no intention of letting him leave until the summer.

Stop throwing your toys out of the pram because we've only signed one player a month before the window even opens.

Look, I've enough stress reading this with my OCD without you changing your profile pic. Change it back now!

Yes most players live near the training ground just like Chelsea players in Cobham

Before that yo would be reading Tiger and Scorcher and imagining that we would be putting in a bid for Roy Race or Billy with the old boots

I heard we're in for a new keeper...

....and a new striker:

Sorry to say that I would rather live in at albans than leicester

And I'm a five minute drive from their training

ground

and there are plenty parts of london which are far from shot holes where he could afford to live

You are really easy to deceive by the media. Those comments by Arsene Wenger are from this document aired month ago:

https://www.reddit.com/r/footballhighlights/comments/4iw2k7/the_greatest_teams_by_arsene_wenger_england/

At the end he is asked about best english players for the upcoming Euro 2016, Vardy question is there too. You know what was the only thing that Wenger said?

That Vardy is ready quality-wise and he has the form, he is just not experienced enough with the international-level play to rely on him with the whole tournament.

So how many times Vardy was in the english team for the international tournaments remind me.

Sky Sports News ran the story today without any reference to a previous report so if I was deceived it was by Sky by hiding that rather than any naivety.

Harry Kane being chased by a bear that hates his corners is far better than Nic Cage as Patrick Stewart tbh

Yeah, and the absolute nightmare of the traffic, (where he could regularly be stuck for up to an hour or more each way) just to get in and out of London from the areas you mention makes where he is now, way better in terms of accessibility, quality of life and covenience. Especially if he has been offered a package that is not far off Arsenal's.

His disposable income will probably be about the same, once the cost of getting to and fro, house prices, nightlife in trendy west end clubs, etc is subtracted.

You are aware that Leicester is in the top 10 worst cities in the UK for congestion?

Arsenal's training ground is in Hertfordshire, not London.

I just don't understand your argument at all.
