My country(Georgia,137 in fifa ratings) just beat Spain in friendly

you should be Georgian to fully understand what this win means to us.Much more than Arsenal getting forth in PL and taking selfie to celebrate this

With all this talk of Vardy being an old man at 29 and 20 million being probably the max he is worth, what about this Ibrahimovic saga?

He's 34 and yet still the media and fans are creaming over him?! Who's to say Vardy, who may be relatively fresh given his late arrival at elite level, won't go on until 33 or 34?

Where has this come from?

Walked in to the back end of a discussion about it on 5Live earlier - has this even been suggested anywhere, or are R5 just spinning their own rumours?

Same as Friday, is this even a story or just a Twitter shitstorm?

Imagine these two conversations:

Arsenal Press Office

- should we comment? No offer has been made officially; all we're really going on is:

- 1. Wrighty suggesting on R5 Thursday eve that we should pull out all stops to trigger a Vardy release clause (if there is one) & change our system

- 2. One Tweet from an Arsenal following journo stating that "Arsenal have triggered a £20m release clause in JV contract & he will be a Gooner within 48 hrs" on Friday

- 3. Causes fan meltdown either way

No we shouldn't, nothing in it. Not on Wish List

LCFC PR Team

- should we comment? Absolutely not. We've received no approach; just some knobhead journo who thinks he's itk on Twitter stating his opinion as fact.

Media has gone ballistic, but not our problem - JV has already signed new contract...

....wakes up ;-)

(Hopefully to good news in a couple of weeks!)

His lifestyle In his book will show it's a miracle he is still playing at all !

Highly unlikely to be an off the shoulder type in 2 years

Ok, take away the quality of life bit (which I still say will be better in Leics) and just focus on the fact that, 120K or not - after the overheads of living in Herts or North London are deducted, he will have very little, if any more financially than he would by simply staying put, with this new and improved offer from us. So why bother?

I don't know how to make my point any clearer?!

London is incredibly expensive, but he'd be earning double what most Londonders earn in a year... per week.

It's not so much money he'd need to focus on, but his quality of life, which would involve a number of factors.

And unless he wants to eat every meal in a disposable gold helicopter, money is probably a negligible factor.

Even he injuries himself, and loses all his money instantly, people would still throw money at him to run sessions, conferences, talks, books, you name it.

If he's being advised sensibly, his main concern would be making the most of the four odd years of top flight football he has left in him.

Guy looks like a 100% willy puller.

All he does is tweet crap like 'WOW breaking news' and a link to the crap 90 minute.com website. Think HITC levels of shiteness and you'll get what i mean.

A bit later than promised but sources tell me my bowels successfully cleared another 2 medium sized logs at around 15:17 GMT. Many are saying this was the best movement of the last couple of days but there was unfortunately a bit of post-game cleanup required. More as it happens.

Why on earth would a young man want to live in one of the world's most vibrant, prosperous and entertaining cities with £140k a week pocket money when he could stay in Leicester?

You missed out most expensive, hollowed out, oligarch-ridden, corrupt, self-serving, selfish, miserable and unfriendly!

I've put a bet on Vardy staying at Leicester. I don't have twitter but if I set up a twitter account and put trademark after my name, and write the above statement will everyone calm down and just assume he's staying?
