Corky Posted 22 May 2016 Posted 22 May 2016 Whether it was enough for a penalty I'm not sure but the defender looks to impede his run by grabbing him so you run the risk. There was more contact in the West Ham one though. Nice for him to get another goal.

If you despise England so much, why bother watching? Surely there are more enjoyable things to do with your time?

Certain players shouldn't get a look in, sterling, Wilshere and Henderson to name three... Vardy being out on the left in a terrible 433 formation. We only looked good when Vardy and Kane were upfront, sterling and Wilshere were off and drinkwater in.

The West Ham one he was more alongside and had to lean across and jumped up and across into the contact. Subtle differences, but significant ones. Both incidents were made with intent to win a penalty by tangling the legs. It's very clever play by Vardy. If there's contact in that way in the box it's a penalty because it looks clumsy for the defender but there won't be the pressure and talking points in the media because it's gone in 'our' favour
