Cheered when Russia scored. Roy really is a fvcking fvckwit.

Takes the completely ineffective Sterling off and replaces him with the always-pathetic Milner. Leaving the most effective Striker in the Premier league on the bench. The only player who would have pressured the Russians.

Even if Hodgson is only interested in defending the lead in those last few minutes surely Vardy would have been capable of offering more of a first line of defence than Kane by that stage. Yes if we'd gone all out attack at 1-0 and messed up he'd get stick for that but putting fresh legs up there would occupy them and keep them wary of the threat. Kane jogging round like a sunday morning fun runner did nothing to keep them edgy or feel pressured in any way. Personally I'd like to have seen us keep going the same or freshen the forward position and think of getting the second. Solidifying when they have a giant presence in your box is pointless, they won't try to play through you, just hit the big man.

You could see it coming as well, for the last 15 I was thinking I bet we'll concede too late for him to bring Vardy on to try to win it again.

Well that didn't end well did it ?

Kane was as poor as I can remember him in an England shirt, Lallana can't hit the target and Sterling reminds me of Forrest Gump (run, Raheem, Run, you headless chicken).

Walker and Rose going forward were good, but please Roy use the pace you have up front in the squad.

Vardy, Sturridge and even young Rashford would have given you another dimension.

Keep playing it your way Woy and we will be heading home early AGAIN.

I think it's more to do with the useless ****ig manager. I'd have been perfectly happy if he'd just taken off Sterling for anyone, wouldn't have cared if it was Vardy or not. Just anyone.

Where to start? Joke team, joke manager, made me laugh anyway. Only decent player, Rooney - oh, and Walker, fair play, did pretty good. Consolation? I predicted 1-1 in wifes competition thing at work, so got 2 correct results and one perfect score so far.

Perhaps it's just a case of the Spurs players are happy to finish third yet again.

Just put something like this on Twitter and already getting abuse for being an "anti English tw@t" (from a Sp*rs fan) - I want England to win but just can't see it with this clown in charge and his dependence on players at "big clubs" who are not as good as other players in the league. I do not know of any other country which would ignore players of the League Winning Team for their country, just because its not a "big club". I think Townsend and Nolan should be in the squad too

The wife kept saying in the first half, " Vardy would have got that" or " Vardy would have scored that" - think she was mostly right.As Barton said, JV should have at least come on at 1-0 when they were pushing us back.

Thought we played well tonight, gutted with the result but i think we'll batter the Welsh. Hodgson's subs were poor but we still did alright.

Come on here and it's like we've just lost 5-0. joke.
