Was never ever going to be a great game, and whilst I'm as underwhelmed as most i never understand why some people are surprised. I get the feeling that rather than busting a gut to prove they DESERVE a place in the starting 11, majority of those players tonight know Roy will select them no matter what. The players we have really aren't as good as some people like to make out, looked like complete strangers tonight and the lack of ideas and creativity was painful.

Why on earth do England make the game so complicated? It's people trying to be too clever with all these formations and tactics. I guarantee that if we played a simple 4-4-2, with players in natural positions, it would be a massive improvement.
