Larry_LCFC Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 Much better than last week defensively. Huth really does make the difference. Seemed to lack something going forward. Musa should have been on much much earlier. Ridiculous to wait until 85 minutes. Referee had an absolute shocker.

Can't understand the negative comments towards King re today's game, thought he slotted in well and we gradually gained more and more control of the midfield after being dominated for the first 45.

Musa had his legs kicked out from behind. Stone wall. Hope Mendy is OK. King was better than last week when he came on, although that's not saying much.

Go and spend some fcking money and bring new CM because its obvious Ranieri is not gonna let |Amartey play in cm and King for that possition with Drinky,no chance Vardy still not in shape well done Mahrez,he was better than Simpson in defence Musa should have scored

He's usually consistent, fair, lets the game flow and does what a referee should - makes it about the players rather than him. In other words, the absolute antithesis of Jon Moss. However, he'll look back on today as a bad day at the office. We all have them and I'm not going to moan too harshly.

UPinCarolina Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 Alright - the positives: 1) Vardy ran hard, Mahrez was involved, Shinji did Shinji things, Drinky was himself, Morgan looked better. 2) Musa is clearly a change of pace option who can really stress a tired defense. 3) Simpson played well, IMO. 4) Kasper was fine. 5) Arsenal seemed to be a different team from last week, so a draw is not as horrid as it might have appeared. Negatives: 1) Clat'n'twat 2) Midfield is totally unsettled...splash the cash. 3) Everything seems a little off. 4) Claudio again had a bit of a mare; Musa should have come on 5 to 7 minutes sooner.

Kasper looked solid, Simpson played well, Albrighton was OK, King looked OK, Vardy looked sharp - jeez, I think if you want a 100- nil for every game it's going to be a long season for you.........

I'm talking about Kings strengths, he isn't a defensive midfielder. That's your opinion, I wonder what the stats say, i bet Mendy made more tackles and interceptions then King did. I find it baffling to praise to King above any other player.
