lgfualol Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 Annoyed about the pen but encouraged by our performance. We looked like our usual selves. Just hope Mendy's injury isn't serious and we play either Amartey or a new guy there next game. Vardy needs to buy some shooting boots with his new wages.
Will1981 Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 gutted we deserved the 3 points there, its one thing getting the penalty decision's wrong but it is disgraceful not showing Coquelin the second yellow.
Guest Bilo Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 Some very poor decisions from Clattenburg, the Musa penalty appeal is about as stonewall as you're going to see this side of Remi Harrel. That said, after a first half in which we were overrun in midfield but rarely threatened, followed by a significant improvement across the pitch after the break, the team can take considerable heart from that display. It was much, much more like the side who won in the league today than we even saw flashes of at Hull. Disappointed not to have the three points the display clearly warranted, but heartened by a vastly improved display. Musa is going to be a nuisance to defences this season.
SecretPro Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 Said last season Clattenberg was shit and everyone on here pretty much cried over it. Shame on you.
foxfan92 Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 Clattenburg clearly a Gunners fan! Blatant penalty. But I think we just saw a glimps of last season there - especially second half. I thought we looked better funnily enough when King came on. Lots of our players looking much better - Vardy still not 100% but feeling better after that than last week if still fuming at fact we were cheated out of all 3 points.
SecretPro Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 Musa with 3 minutes to go was joke of the day. Best player last week and destroyed Arsenal in three minutes this week. Learn from It.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 As it stands we're actually doing better than last season. Didn't get a point off Arsenal or Hull! Honestly though can't believe we didn't win today. Every decision against us, but we looked decent overall. Drinky and Simpson both outstanding

Hope Mendy is okay. Dude, I had some guy on the Andy king tell me I've been disrespect full to AK for saying I want him on the bench.
fuchsntf Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 Lost to the future 2016/2017 Champions away. got a point where we failed last season Win league by 8pts..simples..

foxes_rule1978 Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 we matched Arsenal in every department, and in the last 10 could have won it... we are showing the qualities that won us the league now. Top 6 should be on for sure.
Dr The Singh Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 We lack some belief and confidence, but his point will do us a world of good
TeamRocket Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 Think this was a very strong performance also very reassuring. Its a shame that the ref was a c====ock but hopefully other luck would go with us over all i feel happy
Webbo Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 Surprised King came on for Mendy, I'd have thought Amartey was the more natural replacement. Maybe Ranieri doesn't rate him in midfield.
Bazly Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 Happy enough with the point as we never carried a serious goal threat but Arsenal should have played the last quarter with 10 players and had one penalty to face. There is a big gap between Mahrez and the rest of midfield that needs plugging, to help him out when he has three opposing players closing in to tackle. Lets hope Mendy is back next week as King although he made one key interception isn't defensive enough for our needs.
seenitall Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 Two penalties for me - the first one Drinky kicks it against Koschielny's leg and gets fouled in the process = penalty and Musa only a twat would not give it, even Howard Webb thought it was a wrong decision and he never says that
Sionnach gorm Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 Musa was a game changer. Our midfield improved...and so did our defense (barring a few mistakes).

I can't say I disagree. She knows little about sports, but even she can see that. She's a keeper
Tuna Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 We still need a quality Striker to play alongside Vardy/Musa and we need a quality midfielder. Just 2 decent signings. Albrighton looks very, very poor as well at the moment.
foxy boxing Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 We did well in the last five minutes now let's see if we can do it in a whole game, must did well when he came on with his pace he just needs to improve his end product. We soaked up the pressure well but cannot do that every game, it is a lot harder without the ball than with it and we need to remember that. There are positives from the game but also a few negatives that we need to work on
Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 Much better than Hull game. A lot more energy and desire. Excellent second half performance apart from the final cutting edge. Should have had the Musa penalty. Awful by Clattenburg for that and the Coquelin incident which was a clear second yellow and off. So very unlucky there. Thought King played quite well when he came on which surprised me. Musa looks sharp but needed to go for that ball. Overall am pleased with that but still need attacking CM and back up at RB although Simpson had a good game in the end
midland_red Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 much much better! Should have had a pen, and the arse should have been down to 10 men too - a dirty, nasty side. Mahrez definitely more up for it too. If we had been offered a point at the beginning we would probably have accepted it. Unlike last week there are plenty of positives and things to build on

Didn't realise he even was on the pitch, he is not a Kante type player, let's not sugar coat it, he is being asked to do something that is not his strength
