Koke Posted 6 November 2016 Posted 6 November 2016 No idea how Vardy got in there. Charlie Austin can feel hard done by.
Benjani Posted 6 November 2016 Posted 6 November 2016 It seems once you get in the squad a few times and are in with the group then you are in forever. Doesn't matter about performances
Wymsey Posted 6 November 2016 Posted 6 November 2016 Chance for Vardy to rediscover his form to say the least. Only Scotland and looking at their CBs he should be fine. Chance for Drinkwater to take his mind off today's mistake.
Jimothy Posted 6 November 2016 Posted 6 November 2016 1 minute ago, Koke said: No idea how Vardy got in there. Charlie Austin can feel hard done by. People just get called up by default these days. How on earth is Jagielka still getting called up?
brucey Posted 6 November 2016 Posted 6 November 2016 Yet again picking the squad based on previous caps rather than form, then
Jimothy Posted 6 November 2016 Posted 6 November 2016 Just now, Wymeswold fox said: Chance for Vardy to rediscover his form to say the least. Only Scotland and looking at their CBs he should be fine. He won't play. He was behind sturridge and Rashford last time round, and now the golden boy Kane is back.
Charl91 Posted 6 November 2016 Posted 6 November 2016 I'd say neither should be in there, based on form.
AKCJ Posted 6 November 2016 Posted 6 November 2016 I think Vardy is a very lucky boy but, aside from the last couple of weeks, Drinkwater should be the first midfielder named. Charlie Austin deserved it.
filthyfox Posted 6 November 2016 Posted 6 November 2016 Vardy will play..... it's not based on form, remember?
Dr The Singh Posted 6 November 2016 Posted 6 November 2016 Drinkwater needs a rest, so I hope he gets it
Matt Posted 6 November 2016 Posted 6 November 2016 Vardy's selection summing up everything I hate about England and the selection policy, I cannot be proud or say well done about that - If I was and did i'd be a hypocrite. I'd be going mad if I was a fan of another club. As for Drinky, well done, the only player who seems is worth his new contract and he defintely deserves his call up. (Wasn't great today, but no-one was and barring today been our best player and carried the team in every game so far this season) All of that said England and International Football can FOAD. I will have a slight interest in the England v Jocks game but that's only because of my dislike for the jocks, I want anyone to beat them.
Phube Posted 6 November 2016 Posted 6 November 2016 Wow, Whilshere's in again... must have been so impressive in his 3 games for Bournemouth!
kingfox Posted 6 November 2016 Posted 6 November 2016 The only player from our side that deserves a call up is Danny Simpson.
Tuna Posted 6 November 2016 Posted 6 November 2016 Great, they'll come back even more dispirited and lacking in confidence associating with that lot.
brucey Posted 6 November 2016 Posted 6 November 2016 Nigeria vs Algeria is on at 4pm on 12 Nov. Rather watch a game with 2-3 guaranteed LCFC starters, instead of a game with 1 possible sub appearance.
Dan Posted 6 November 2016 Posted 6 November 2016 The England set up is just hilarious. They refused to play Vardy in his position when he was turning in the best run of form I've seen from an English forward possibly ever, yet now he goes the same number of games without a goal and he's still in, whilst Deeney, Austin and Defoe are all comfortably outperforming him. There is such an establishment mentality it's unbelievable.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 6 November 2016 Posted 6 November 2016 How Vardy is in it I don't know. not deserved at all
goose2010 Posted 6 November 2016 Posted 6 November 2016 Think Danny was looking for a week in Dubai rather that a week with England after today performance
Tielemans63 Posted 6 November 2016 Posted 6 November 2016 That can't be far off the worst England squad ever named. And I really mean that. I can't think of a worse one in my lifetime. Wilshere and Jagielka? At least Southgate has a sense of humour I suppose.
brucey Posted 6 November 2016 Posted 6 November 2016 Did Drinky deactivate his Twitter? When did that happen?
NewEnglandFox Posted 6 November 2016 Posted 6 November 2016 I'd rather they weren't. Drinky needs rest and Vardy needs a kick up the ass. Fortunately neither will play.
Dan Posted 6 November 2016 Posted 6 November 2016 Jagielka HAHAHAHAHAHA are we trying to give Scotland a chance or something? I can see Spain absolutely crucifying us.
