sdb Posted 13 December 2016 Posted 13 December 2016 Knew we'd revert to being wank tonight. Glad I've not had to watch what sounds like aimless hoofball against mediocre opposition again.

adejo92 Posted 13 December 2016 Posted 13 December 2016 It would be nice for a STRIKER to actually be able to make contact with the ball when it comes. Okazaki on for Slimani and Gray for Albrighton. lets not wait til the 75th minute and give the poor bazturds 15mins to salvage this kak!
thegaffa Posted 13 December 2016 Posted 13 December 2016 King looks knackered get mendy on to get hold of the ball and give us an option, ok it's not a lively performance but these are here for the taking if we step up our performance
lcfcdamo Posted 13 December 2016 Posted 13 December 2016 Albrighton has bin so poor i sometimes wonder wot his passing stats our i would say about 50%

And that, my friends, is what you might call a damning summary of where we are right now. Hes is the kind of guy who actually chooses ready salted crisps.
Brooksy Posted 13 December 2016 Posted 13 December 2016 Oh and Mendy. This midfield is not good enough.
TJB-fox Posted 13 December 2016 Posted 13 December 2016 Thoughts on first half: -Everyone seems quite happy to be a passenger it's all too passive -This shitty hoofball really HAS to stop. We literally can't keep the ball, it just invites pressure and limits us to half chances cos we can't create anything -top initial save from Zieler but wtf was that second save? Awful attempt -Teams cut through our midfield like butter get the ball down+ play, and we'll beat these comfortably. Keep playing this anti football hoofball and we won't get out our own half let alone score
matty98 Posted 13 December 2016 Posted 13 December 2016 Why do we just retreat to the edge of our box as soon as Bournemouth get the ball, it's pathetic, we're better than that.

Albrighton useless, Mahrez half asleep, Slimani and Vadry look like they've just met before the game, Hernadez all over the place, Zieler sunday league, Ranieri clueless. There is nothing like a bit of positivity hey.
Father Ted Posted 13 December 2016 Posted 13 December 2016 I can't blame the players - it's blatantly obvious that it's down to management tactics.

Clinical with our chances yes, World class no OMG. Are you a Spurs fan? What has possession got to do with anything?

Tuna Posted 13 December 2016 Posted 13 December 2016 Looks like Saturday's result only papers over the cracks. There has been no overall change, Man City were compliant opponents who gifted us a win. How much longer are we going to haemorrhage points against teams like this playing dreadful football? Why doesn't he do something different? Ranieri looking increasingly like a busted flush of a manager and he's taking us down if this carries on for much longer. He needs to sort it out and fast!

That the Amartey who this season who has created more chances than King and Drinkwater, had more key passes, and got as many assists. Perhaps we should question their wasteful and pointless forward passes if they aren't creating anything?

Yes Man City was great but we need consistency, again we look off the pace, out passed out played and sloppy. No fan can defend this! I agree! My comment was just that one good performance might have caused a few to get carried away...
funkyrobot Posted 13 December 2016 Posted 13 December 2016 12 minutes ago, TheUltimateWinner said: Only a few keepers with great reactions would save it... few including our Kasper... I don't think your average keeper would save that, which is what Zieler is, I don't expect him to make those kind of saves Tv channel SNO pundits just slated Zieler saying should've saved it.
lcfcsnow Posted 13 December 2016 Posted 13 December 2016 May as well try Mendy and Amartey together before Drinkwater comes back, King is offering nothing as per usual away from home.
ZeGuy Posted 13 December 2016 Posted 13 December 2016 Midfielder with some technical and offensive abilities really needed. As soon as the opponent lies deep and we have to rely on the midfield to build up offensives nothing happens. I see no triangle play whatsoever.
The People's Hero Posted 13 December 2016 Posted 13 December 2016 Ps. Cheese and Onion all the way, right ?
