Stevosevic Posted 26 December 2016 Posted 26 December 2016 Should play him with Fuchs on the left side for Saturday.
dynamark Posted 26 December 2016 Posted 26 December 2016 My apologies did well very well nothing rash and made right decision Was looked Ok as well but the goals were down the other end so need another look.

theessexfox Posted 26 December 2016 Posted 26 December 2016 Really positive, front-foot defender, well-timed tackling, nicked a few balls in front, they never got in behind him, very good in the air for his height and a great dribbler from deep, goes forward with no fear. Really good performance and we should try and nurture this rare talent we've produced. Particularly pleasing that they clearly targeted him as a weakness and he came up trumps.
CPW22 Posted 26 December 2016 Posted 26 December 2016 Third time I've seen him play this season and it was by far his best performance. I'll reserve my final judgement until I've seen him play a few more times. Fully expect CR to drop him for Saturday though.
Ric Flair Posted 26 December 2016 Posted 26 December 2016 Where are all those fcukin prats from the other day? It's as clear as day how talented he is, but it would be typical of us as a club to balls it up. Modern fullback who in the right formation would be incredible. But forget it.
katieakita Posted 26 December 2016 Posted 26 December 2016 Perhaps play him and Fuchs down the left side, we could do a lot worse.
TheMightySystem Posted 26 December 2016 Posted 26 December 2016 Keep him in, make Fuchs work his way back into the team. Harsh maybe as they are both very good fullbacks but what does it say to the other youth players if they can put in a motm performance yet still get dropped next game.

Tuna Posted 26 December 2016 Posted 26 December 2016 He did very well today and he'll be able to think about that when he watches from the bench against West Ham. Claudio has his first picks and that won't change on one performance.
filbertway Posted 27 December 2016 Posted 27 December 2016 Glad to hear he's had a good game. No need for Amartey or Schlupp to play there then?
TJB-fox Posted 27 December 2016 Posted 27 December 2016 Was superb, reminded me of a young Leighton Baines in his prime when he was parading down the left. It is absolutely imperative for the development of Leicester city than we nurture and progress players like Gray and Chilwell imo
Kevinparr71 Posted 27 December 2016 Posted 27 December 2016 Played we'll today but will probably be on the bench on SaturdaySaturday
Lambert09 Posted 27 December 2016 Posted 27 December 2016 I see everyone who knocked him after only playing two games are crawling back under their stones. When end will our fans learn
thebartonfox Posted 27 December 2016 Posted 27 December 2016 Should definitely keep his place next match. I'd be happy to see Chilwell at LB with Fuchs playing on the left wing. So far this season it's been Fuchs who has been putting some of the more dangerous balls into the opposition box, certainly justification and him and Gray on the wings for the quality of ball coming in.

CloudFox Posted 27 December 2016 Posted 27 December 2016 You know what? The more people suggesting Chilwell at LB and Fuchs at LW l, the more I like the sound of it... Chilly proved a lot of people wrong yesterday.
Koke Posted 27 December 2016 Posted 27 December 2016 Watching Chilwell control and pass the ball and put his good technical ability to use makes it even more painful watching Danny Simpson on the other side who becomes brain dead when he receives the ball and looks bewildered when he reaches the half way line. I wish Chilwell was a right back.

He was superb.
norwichfox Posted 27 December 2016 Posted 27 December 2016 I didn't want him to play....how wrong I was, he was the one bright spark today played a blinder. Well done Chilwell, deserves to start next game too,
Trav Le Bleu Posted 27 December 2016 Posted 27 December 2016 Wow! One good game and suddenly a player is the Messiah who's going to save the season. He's perfectly capable of playing as badly as he did against Porto, much as many of the players who have been poor are capable of playing as well as they did against Man City. Our problems are far more complex to solve than picking the player who did well in the last game and one good game does not make someone a legend.
dynamark Posted 27 December 2016 Posted 27 December 2016 Not sure anyone suggesting he is a legend just pleased that he did pretty well -exceeded expectations but we still lost so its his fault
