Dames Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Has to go now. His persistent faith in out of form players and lack of proper recruitment to appease the egos instead of challenge them is leading us to the edge. Will forever be a Legend for last season but this season he's lost his grip and is never going to get it back.
justfoxes Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Do the right thing Claudio the jobs got to big for you for some reason fook knows what retire gracefully resign please would hate to see you get sacked after last seasons which seems years ago now awesome achievement!!
Chester Dontlie Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Thanks for everything Claudio, please leave now while we still have respect for you
foxyblue Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Trouble is he is like other managers, resign and you don't get a pay off but get sacked and you get your contract payed up. We will see what kind of person he is if it happens. He is not going to resign.
Foxxed Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Pity he didn't try a new CB tonight. If he had tried one, at least fans would be happy he's trying to address a major complaint. I'll be incredibly shocked if they sack him. He may quit I guess, if he feels he can no longer do his job. I wonder what the internal politics in the team and staff is like. I'll be shocked if we turn it around at this point.
Moksky Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Word from inside the dressing room is that Ranieri hasn't been speaking to the players
GloverFox Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 It's gone 19:00 now ....... Has he not been fired yet?????
Raj Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 For the sake of football,I hope he stays and gets us out of this situation. All football fans would die a little if this legend would get the ultimate slap in the face by getting sacked less than a year after guiding us to a Premier League title.
Matt Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Ask him to resign. If he refuses to resign, sack him but out of respect for last season tell everyone he has resigned (If he decides to go public that we sacked him then more fool him but i'm sure in his payout we could put something in the contract that he doesn't speak out). That is the amicable way to resolve this situation.

The DOF could be but the owners aren't and they speak with the players. Surely players, coaching staff etc would be talking to vichai ?? his Instagram post didn't look like it came from someone who wasn't convinced that claudio was staying - unless it's part of an elaborate plan to make sure it looks as though his leaving is completely his decision and he wasn't pushed ??
Joefox Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 What a mess this has turned into. It makes me so sad to see this happen.

The extraordinary excitement and pride of just 8 months ago, and now witnessing defeat after inevitable defeat with everyone seemingly powerless to prevent our return to the championship. I hare to say it but I think a rapid change of manager is the only way we have even a chance of changing this trajectory. Please Claudio, ask to be relieved of your post, for your sake, and for the sake of the club

After the complete euphoria of last season I would have said it would be impossible for the team to make me feel like this yet they are somehow managing it.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Considering the owners have been at the past two games after being missing up until this point in the season, you get the feeling they're here to do business and make a decision.

They will not sack CR, there too loyal, and in the past have given CR a pass, even if we're relegated. The only person that can make this happen is CR

filthyfox Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 We didn't sign a defender in January (Wagué is obviously shit or he would have played today). If we are bottom 3 at the end of this month he should go.

Why would it be a slap in the face? Even if we were 10th we wouldn't be asking for this... Ranieri is as much to blame as the players. If performances were decent we'd have some hope but they are atrocious. How anyone can defend Claudio after today is beyond me
Fox92 Posted 12 February 2017 Posted 12 February 2017 Total admiration and respect etc for what he did with us. We'll never see it again. I'd honestly love him to turn this around but I just can't see it.
