UPinCarolina Posted 8 February 2017 Posted 8 February 2017 I pray that the collective club had what I'd call a "come to Jesus meeting" - and that it sliced through the Gordian Knot that seemed to be strangling the life out of this season.
Benji Posted 8 February 2017 Posted 8 February 2017 Mauled by the Foxes, they'll all get mauled by the Foxes!!!

Now his work is being dismantled, it will naturally be discussed. Will you fook of about fooking off I was saying I'm fooked off every time there's a bit of disharmony it's bring back fooking ostrich Pearson ffs !!

Winning tonight against a second rate Derby side is one thing. Going to fellow relegation candidates is something completely different.

The chairmans backing, a huge amount of criticism this week and piss taking that will ha be stung the players. Fingers crossed it has galvanised everyone, a decent kick about tonight and a few more options appearing.

I'm giving them all a chance, but Swansea really is the proverbial 6 pointer. It's also such an important game because of exactly what you say. If we go there NOW and lose, after all that's been said this week, it'll be an even bigger blow I suspect.
Corky Posted 8 February 2017 Posted 8 February 2017 We needed a win tonight, the last thing that we wanted was a home defeat to a Championship side having made wholesale changes. There's no stick to beat him with tonight and that should mean things remain smooth until Sunday. Pleased for Claudio as I really don't want him to go and hope he can turn it around.

midland_red Posted 10 February 2017 Posted 10 February 2017 No doubt that this is real and not the usual 'full confidence' before the bullet. Here's why - from a reply I made to Col a week or so back.. Here's a suggestion why the owners might not move. A lot of Asian countries have long traditions of honour and sticking to agreements. I dont know about Thailand but Japan certainly has. Japan has fewer lawyers than the state of California for example, decisions are made consensually and agreements expected to be upheld. (This, leaving football for a moment,is why the Japanese carmakers are so pissed off with Brexit - they made a deal with Mrs Thatcher and now it will be reneged upon..) Back to footy. When the owners appointed Claudio, they asked him whether he would stay if we got relegated, and he said yes. It was implicit, or even explicit, that he would not be sacked if we did - he would be given the time to fix things. I think they might feel that they made a moral commitment and it should stand, even after winning the title.. I hope they don't think that way. It takes nothing away from Claudio's achievement last season to say that he needs to step down

If we win Col a big IF but if we do win well and truly turned a corner then i would take a draw ordinarily but I think we need to win the Swansea game 2-1 To Leicester

One of the things has already happened. One of the others is more likely that the other!

Not only for points but for confidence. Given all that has happened this week, if we again play like a bag of shit and lose on Sunday, it'll all be for diddly squat.
foxinsocks Posted 10 February 2017 Posted 10 February 2017 I think i would like to see amarty ndidi musa chilwell albrighton and gray all start. Playing benny might be brave... not sure. I still believe shinji is key. Personally i would play slimani ahead of vardy...

I would go with 3 in midfield to make us more solid away, how about you Col? probably Ndidi Mendy and Drinky but possibly King instead of one?
Ric Flair Posted 10 February 2017 Posted 10 February 2017 I said on Wednesday morning we'd win the next 3 games and go in to the Seville game fairly bouyant. 1 down 2 to go. Let's get back on track.
Clever Fox Posted 10 February 2017 Posted 10 February 2017 I expect to see 4 3 3 I'd also play Benny if only to rest one of Morgan or Huth For Wednesday. DD N Diddi Albrighton. Gray Slim Mahrez Fancy the away win to shut a lot of people up.
