somebum Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 I have never been so disgusted and ashamed of our club, I'm in tears. I hope we get relegated and our crap players suffer humiliation, don't care anymore.

My heart says it's all bad, the memories, the lovely bloke we all warm to. Arrrrr it's hurts.... However, my head says it's business and for whatever the reason, the players are not on it. Something had to give. I feel as if I've just lost a grandparent.

Why not before Swansea or millwall? Or after millwall? Just heard on SSN that the owners have said the target this season was to stay in the premier league....well last time I looked we still aren't in the bottom 3???? Once again, Shocked!
RoboFox Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 F**king hell. I'd just sat down to dinner, got a cryptic text from a mate, and upon checking twitter nearly vomited my beef rogan josh all over my missus. Like many, I feel weird. I feel like I've just broken up with a girlfriend who was the most explosive in the sack I'd ever experienced, but then she'd decided to go celibate over the last few months. I know how good it can be and was clinging onto the hope I could have it again. My head says yes, my heart says no. Now we've gone from everyone's favourite second club, to probably the most hated club in the country. The players need to have a long, hard look at themselves. This is on their hands. Just really... Sad. Goodnight, sweet prince. I'll never, ever forget what you did for us.

GloverFox Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 ... very sad to see Claudio being sacked, there must have been a gentler way to replace our top honours manager? I can understand and agree with Tops concern that the Clubs interests must come paramount, but this leaves me with sadness tonight. Goodbye Claudio and a massive thank you.
frany104 Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 Unfortunately you don't spend that much on average players and not pay with your job. Love the man but he would have taken us down. Build the statue of him straight away though.
AyewJoking Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 i wanted him gone before christmas but must admit im a little shocked and sad. leicesters best ever manager obviously but with last seasons title came the expectancy to build. no pressure to finish top 6 or anything but instead of progress the house has fallen down, possibly beyond repair this season. whether the players or ranieri are to blame we may never find out but it was clear he couldnt handle the situation. we have given ourselves a better chance of survival by removing him though and the roller coaster goes on.
Ron Combo Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 Lot of plastic blubbers coming out of the woodwork tonight. FFS.
Foxxed Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 I look forward to the next time we start berating players for not being loyal enough. You must stick by your club, and your team, in hard times and good. But in hard time you team, and your club, will not stick by you.

Ghost Troop Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 I just feel so bad and sad that its come to this. Nothing lasts forever, but one would have hoped for a liitle more a little longer. Whatever you think about the here and now, we kissed the cheeks of god last season and not one of us thought that would ever happen. Some might say, anything that happens this season is a reasonable trade off for the miracle of 2016/17. All I know is feel terrible for Claudio and indeed for all who care for our club. e
leicesterlad1989 Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 Genuinely gutted that is has ended this way. I really hoped he could see this through and keep us up. Without speculating about player revolts etc I'd just like to thank Ranieri. Under Ranieri's leadership I have had some of the greatest days of my life, so far. Whenever I think of the title win, I'll always think of him.

kyleolly Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 Peter Taylor on talk sport giving his expert opinion on the matter ?

Can only get it up for the Champions League. What a sad state of affairs. Utterly devastated by this. Truly think he deserved the season regardless. Even if we ended up bottom. Claudio got a whopping pay rise too. It was the players that went out on the pitch and delivered a Premier League title following the great escape. Why don't they seem to have as much credit in the bank as Claudio?
Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 Fvcking Twitter in meltdown. Florist fans loving it calling us tinpot. Ha!
ARCHER Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 Thank you Claudio, I for one appreciate what you have done.
Ted Maul Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 Desperately sad, but it needed to be done- we were nailed on for relegation and the owners wouldn't stand for the financial hit that would involve. Twitter has gone into meltdown over it, naturally- probably the same fans who were laughing at us for hurtling towards relegation now saying the hope we get relegated. Hopefully we get a decent replacement and create a siege mentality again now all of the national goodwill has evaporated.
daddylonglegs Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 Ndidi just liked that pic on Instagram too. Pretty weird

Surely you'd want to show him your respect and say goodbye to the man who won us the Premier League. Bit desrespectful for the new manager. I agree singing his name for a few minutes but then lets get behind the owners, new manager (if in place) and the team. Let's be honest we have all said how shit we was and the football is awful and then add the unrest on top there was only ever one outcome. Any other manager would have been gone long ago. Losing to millwall who had 10 men was bad enough and keeping 4 at the back was horrendous tactically. I love the bloke but he ain't the man to turn this club back around, we need a bloke to get this team motivated and most importantly the fans motivated and back on side because a lot of people was sick of the dross this season.
Rob1742 Posted 23 February 2017 Posted 23 February 2017 Let's face it, we were doomed with him a week ago. Since then we have been knocked out of the FA Cup to a team with ten men from division 3. Then yesterday we got battered. How it was 2-1 I will never know, we were dreadful as usual. Everyone is getting a bit a bit of a semi on because of the score line, but it was awful. He plays Musa on the right??? Then wonders why he didn't close down the crosser. The players don't know what they are doing from one game to the next. I now think we have a much better chance of survival and beating Sevilla than we did yesterday with Ranieri
