Please another performance like against Liverpool and another 3 points!

Kind of want Shakey to shake things up with Slim and Leo and a ton af crosses, but it is probably better to stick with the same team.

This was always a must win and even in the wake of the Liverpool result, it still is. However, I'm not convinced it'll be as easy as may perceive it to be; Hull will be a lot more compact and harder to break down and will have to work on finding a way through what is likely to be a wall of Orange and Black shirts. Having said that, I'm still confident of a positive result today and it would be nice to think that if we get another win, Shakespeare will be given the job until the end of the season; I think he would've done enough to earn that right. Pretty sure we will see the same lineup from Monday night and just hope that the boys go about their work in the same manner. And you never know, Riyad may finally turn on the style as well today. This was the game I had marked as a must win when looking through our fixtures a few weeks ago. Things have changed a bit- we got an unexpected win against Liverpool, so winning is not as essential as it was before. It's more of a 'must not lose' now, but a win would put a bit of daylight between us and the bottom 3.

As you say, Hull are a decent side and it won't be easy at all. Win though, and we're in a great position going into a bit of a break, and we could really enjoy the Sevilla game.

The most important thing is retaining the intensity, drive, tempo and togetherness we played with last season and re discovered against Liverpool.

Anything else is just the marginal percentages.

I would definitely start with Mahrez. I expect Hull to defend reasonably deep and to defend in numbers ( not a criticism, same as we try to do). It might need a bit of magic to unlock them. Depends which hull turns up. I've seen them be absolutely awful this season at times but of late they've had some genuinely encouraging displays.

Totally agree with your post, only important thing missing is a mention of the part WE the fans need to play.

This is by far the biggest game of the season now. We need to be louder and more intense than last Monday night.

We need to back Shakey and the lads For the full 96/7 minutes.

And when I say back Shakey I mean no other manager, we've paid our respect to Claudio, let's now focus on here and now, the rest OF THIS season and future!

Kasper,

Simmo, Wes, Huth, Fuchs

Mahrez, Drinky, N'Didi, Albrighton,

Vardy, Slimani.

Harsh to drop Okazaki but I think we need something different due to us having more quality than Hull.

Win, draw, lose - I'm not that bothered (really ? well OK, I am a bit), as long as we get the boys in blue that did us proud last season and last Monday night.

Today is pivotal in our season, perhaps history.

Win and we can start looking up the table.

Lose and we're in a relegation scrap being led by Roy Hodgson.

Remember that when you're at the ground at 3:25pm, it's 0-0 and you wonder whether or not you can be arsed to cheer the boys on!

I just hope last week wasn't a one off! We need to fired up again right from the whistle.

Hope the dressing room is filled with all the crap journalists have said about the players over the last week or so, and we see them fighting and pressing and creating like we know they can.

I want to see another reaction - especially in front of the home fans. We know we can play better and the Liverpool game showed that.

As long as we manage our energy levels accordingly, we should be fine. A win is both crucial for adding to our morale and distancing ourselves further from the drop zone.

Team-wise, I'd field the same players that beat the Reds.

Is Slimani back to full fitness?

Schmeichel (or Zieler, depending on Kasper's ankle injury)

Simpson Morgan Huth Fuchs

                        Ndidi

Mahrez Drinkwater Albrighton

                    Okazaki

                     Vardy

Subs: Schmeichel/Zieler/Hamer, Benalouane, Chilwell/Fuchs, King, Gray, Amartey/Slimani, Ulloa

Where have you been for the last week?

I think we will start with same line up as Liverpool, but I think

Slimani might have a big part to play today.

I watched Hull v Arsenal and was very impressed with them,

they looked strong and aggressive.

I've gone back to wearing my retro city top this week, like I did all last season and seems to be doing the job. Confident today! 4-1!

I hope it's not the green and yellow pin stripe 1983-1985 Ind Coope number? Seen a few wearing that and I'm not sure people appreciate how maligned it was at the time because we never won a single game in it. Reverted to red for the next away kit.

Wont start a matchthread yet, but Skys ticker  Leicester unchanged for the visit of Hull.

Kasper will be selected apparently he had had ankle problems..

Id start the same but would like to see subs earlier depending on the score.

Amartey if needed to fill the midfield 1/2 up

Slim for Oka second half if we have not scored.

Gray needs 20  mins not 5 if he is to be effective

Chilly for fuchs again for fresh legs

I know we only get 3
