Not sure if that is the kit but didn't we win like all our games in one that colour in our promotion season?

I remember us losing 2-0 to palace away in this kit so I don't think so.

Let's bring this classic, super popular kit back for one game

Is it just me or do the foxes in the background look next level retarded?

Great rant.

Did anyone else hate the look of the blue/white/white?

Not that it matters all that much, but it was mildly distracting for me for the first 10 minutes.

Was half expecting to see Stephen Hughes and Gareth Williams at times.

You're joking. As a 50+ it reminded me of the '70s and the kit of the team I first supported. Biggest night in our history and I was so pleased it was that kit. Through half closed eyes it could have been Worthington, Kember, Rofe et al out there. Loved it.

One of Birchs best stories is about the Wool -lived in Wigston and couldn't find his way home from training.

I cannot think of anyone who looked less like a footballer - apologies to the Wool

Certainly better than the white shirts blue shorts against Everton....Been picky but I think the shade of blue is too dark to look good with white....The lighter more royal blue of yesteryear was better with white
