RODNEY FERNIO Posted 7 June 2017 Posted 7 June 2017 Got back from a holiday with the lads and I reckon three of us were averaging about 8 pints a day ... 56 pints in a week !! Does anyone stick to the recommended weekly limit which we must have been exceeded every day ?

Crinklyfox Posted 8 June 2017 Posted 8 June 2017 In my youth I once worked with a lad who drank. He asked me how much I drank and I told him three or four pints a night when I went out. He asked me if that got me drunk and I said just a little and he was really envious, he said he wished he could get p****d on that amount. I asked him how much he drank and he said eight pints a night during the week but 23-24 pints a night on a weekend. I was astounded that anyone could drink that much. It had taken its toll because he usually looked sickly, had a lot of time off and had aged before his time. All in all a great advert for moderation.
RODNEY FERNIO Posted 8 June 2017 Author Posted 8 June 2017 Am obviously a lightweight compared to some of you guys but 100+ units a week is a lot of booze and if I carried on like that every week reckon it would be £10k a year on my favourite bitters alone. Having said that I know of two guys in my local club who are retired and in their Sixties and go to the club every day and have 5 pints each at lunch and then come back in the evening and have another 5 pints each .. staggering given their age

Stadt Posted 8 June 2017 Posted 8 June 2017 I'm shit at drinking tbf last two times i've been to Germany my body has hurt internally after coming back which I think is alcohol related
