getting to the quarters and losing vs Chelsea (albeit 5-2). Think that was 2012. We've had different priorities since then!!

Right now in all honesty I reckon we'll be 9th in the league/ Quarters in FA Cup / 3rd rnd in the League Cup.

 

This has to be the year we take the FA Cup seriously seeing as we have no European games and a squad which should keep us relatively safe. We can bin off the League Cup unless we're in the semi finals or something.

I've put 8th for the league. Possibly optimistic, possibly selling us short. We're a funny side capable of the unlikely, and that works both ways.

 

Cups I think we'll disappoint. This is the best season we have had in years in my eyes of doing something in the cups - no Europe, really, shouldn't be fighting relegation.

 

Which means we are nailed on to land Arsenal and Man Utd away in the League Cup and FA Cup respectively.

Right now at best I would go with 10th and the 5th Round/QF of both cups.

 

I might feel differently in August.

We never take the cup games too seriously and in the league it will be the big clubs again while we will be competing around clubs like Southampton and Stoke. Etc.

hopefully a top 10 finish and a decent run in the cups, really want us to get to a cup final again too, if we are looking at getting into europe again thats probably the easier of the ways, unless another miracle happens
