And if the medical is succesfull then........

Money, get away
Get a good job with more pay and you're O.K.
Money, it's a gas
Grab that cash with both hands and make a stash
New car, caviar, four star daydream,
Think I'll Join a new football team.

How I wish, how I wish you were here.
We're in two long threads swimming in a fish bowl, year after year,
Running over the same old ground.
What have we found?
The same old fears.
Wish you were here

Have we all calmed down a bit?

We all got a bit over-excited there. A glass of milk and a no-score draw against lower league opposition should see us back to our normal miserable selves i think.

Manchester City have insisted on a £50 million buy-back option for Kelechi Iheanacho, as the striker closes in on his protracted move to Leicester.

Iheanacho had a medical at Leicester's training ground on Tuesday and is set to finally join Leicester for £25m in the next 48 hours after the deal was held up due to a row over image rights with his former agents.

50 m is ok i guess?

48 hours to reach 100 pages

Yeah £50 million is not a problem for me, it also shows that Man City only want him back if he's EXCEPTIONAL aka Lukaku and they're not interested in moving him on for a quick few quid. That's no problem for us.

they can have him back now!

in all seriousness looks a great deal for us, however i fear player price inflation might make that look a terrible fee if he is to do well for us

Ha ha h, a protracted transfer that appears like it's finally about to get over the line and you're already looking at negatives......give me bloody strength.

He's got a point though... if we pay £25 mil for him and then he is a revelation and scores 60-70 goals over the next two seasons then his worth in the market would easily be £80 mil considering the going price these days.

Still an amazing signing though, now please just another defender!!

it'll be cheap as chips in a few years, but he does have to perform to be worthy of being wanted.

This kid is gonna score a lot of goals. I've watched him for a long time, and his eye for goal is uncanny to say the least.

He's got the highest goals per minute ratio of any player in Premier league history, which should be a real concern for defenders.

Announcement any time now... Hopefully....

Might avert the forthcoming meltdown in the Burton thread.
