The best available seat on their bench.

One assumes no where enough at this  juncture?

Christ Mozart you're going to have to tone it down a notch on here pal!

i hate a lack of loyalty and that is plain and simple what it is

We both know that loyalty is a rare thing in football these days Bob.

I sometimes forget that it's only a job for these players and they just don't love the club like we do. They're not emotionally invested from an early age like we are.

I'll be gutted if DD goes but I'm resigned to us ultimately losing all our best players at some stage.

You'd think he'd be happy and content here on £100k a week or whatever it is, but the lure of more money, trophies and the London lifestyle have probably turned his head.

Personally I can't wait until this window is over. The whole thing is nuts and the money in the game has gone completely bonkers....

The English will always love a player that will run himself into the ground

But that's my point! We can all have favourites, I have a soft spot for technically gifted wingers, others have it for a hard worker, different strokes for different folks!

All i'm saying is, if you are a pot, don't go around calling kettles black.

I'm told Chelsea will not match asking price of £40m and have now told us they will look elsewhere.

Could be a bluff to force our hand  but this deal could be off.

Credit to the club then. Same for Mahrez, although no one did bid for him.

Wonder if Drinkwater will pull an Ulloa or a Mahrez about this.

Seems, with all the money knocking about,  that clubs in the premiership can afford to price players out of the market. Power to the club.

Well yeah. Credit to the club in getting long term deals signed. He's on a 4 year contract, worth a lot of money. To buy him requires at least £40m.

Really sick of seeing this kind of holier-than-thou attitude on here. @the fox is currently as much a Leicester fan as anyone here, regardless of the circumstances in which he started following the club years ago. You might as well go up to that cluster of Japanese fans who are always at the KP home games and asking them to "walk on" because they're only there because of Okazaki.

perhaps if the fox did not bring every topic to a comparison of Mahrez and Slimani he would not get the attitude.

After all this is a Drinky thread. He then posts if Mahrez and why is Drinky not being treated the same as Mahrez.

I hope thefox is a life long fan now. But sorry the way he posts leads me to believe he will follow Mahrez and Slimani out the door.

The club are trying desperately to hold onto all the key players and the fact that people here still question the ambitions of the owners sickens me.

We have NEVER had better owners.

Remember Shipman? I know what he would have done.

Somewhere in between probably. Both Mahrez and Ulloa have PUBLICLY stated they wanted to leave. Danny's done this via a leak from his agent, so as not to burn his bridges, I guess.

Can't work out why someone in charge at the club doesn't just tell the players not to bother making fools of themselves and the club because they're not for sale. Surely they and their agents must know what the club values them at and consequently how much of a bid is acceptable.

I suspect Drinky will be closer to an Ulloa. I remember Ulloa also being injured at the time of his tantrum, although now I wonder if it was one of those mental stress induced 'injuries' that are so popular now.

The players will learn soon enough. Assuming this Drinky news is true, the last 3 players to put in transfer requests will have accomplished nothing except make themselves look silly, annoy fans, and forfeit any loyalty bonuses due.

Just pointing out what I thought, I mentioned gray, am I a gray fan too?

I want mahrez to stay, more than lot of fans here because I know what he brings to the team and how hard it is to replace him. Don't you think if I wasn't a Leicester fan I would be happy for him to play for a bigger team with better players?

Ooh. Steady on. Thats sacrilege. We won the Prem mate. We're massive and bulging with talent. Even Messi wants a go on our hallowed turf. Bigger clubs - fuch off :D

If we do accept an offer for him he will most likely fail a medical he has allegedly been suffering from an injury this season and was also injured for some of last season.

Yeah me too. He would have almost certainly murdered some more old people.

Im pointing out why I feel you get abuse. But hey keep banging on about Mahrez in another topic.

Hoped you may take the hint.

I can assure you Leo needed the time off due to something close to home.
