I suggest to all the little plonkers who still believe in some mythical 'loyalty' in football, that this evening shoots the notion down in flames. We've got Drinkwater effectively begging to go to Chelsea, and Mahrez who, if the stories are to be believed, is trekking around Europe in his quest to leave us.

Let me ask you this...if these deals DONT go through, will you now welcome these players back into the fold with open arms? Bet you do...

That depends on them. I went for an interview the other week. Really wanted the job. Didn't get it. Went back to work and carried on putting in a shift. No problem if they do they same

Nothing to forgive from my point of view. They go, they stay. Makes no odds to me, personally pal. I got bigger things to worry about

Why they be allowed extra time? Wtf is a deadline for then

The extra time is for completing remainders of deals - they've got to have submitted notification of the deal by the deadline, but the contract (for instance) can be finalised half an hour after the deadline without issue.

I've already stated my views on the matter.  DDs handling of this has been very very poor.  Those people calling our players snakes last season, well for me, he's pretty much acting like one through all of this.

Got a rather weird neck in that photo...

It's his powerful neck muscles and all-round aerial prowess that made them fork out £55m for Drinky.

As i understand it as long as the "bones" of the deal, signed by all three parties and containing all the financial details is submitted by 2300 then the rest can be sorted overnight.

Pretty powerful for his neck (more so on his left) to be wider than his head... Amazed people fell for such a shoddy photoshop
