Man U forum seem to think that Mahrez would fit them on the right of their attacking 3. Could be interesting....

Rashford/martial in one wing, mahrez/mkhi in the other and mata/mkhi behind lukaku! Mahrez would be 1v1 almost every time. You just know that he would be skinning people for fun.

If Sanchez or Özil were to leave though... Would hate to see Mahrez there, but then again, he is an "Arsenal-type"...

No. However Riyad really wants out although I think his desire to leave has subsided in recent weeks, he seems to have settled down and cheered up abit, Arsenal imo are the only club that might come in for him, in desperation, it will be a tough choice for him should that scenario occur. Maybe i'm being bias towards ourselves but I don't see moving to Arsenal a hugely positive move - it'd be a positive move, they're better than us (not in current form but they are) but a big enough positive to go? Nah, i'd stop, play out my skin, hope someone comes in in January if not then next summer and get better clubs interested.

Dan Posted 28 August 2017 Posted 28 August 2017 With Lemar off to Liverpool and Sanchez likely to go, Mahrez saying he wants to stay in England, I can't rule out him going to Arsenal, although if I was him I'd hold out for something better. He will win less there than he has here, that's for certain.

I'm still annoyed with how Mahrez made public he wanted out at the end of last season but he has applied himself well so far in the first few games. Keep the head down till January and then if something better comes along consider a move.
