Iborra injured

Non-impact injuries we're suffering could be down to a lack of research on transfer targets, or down to training methods

We seemed to go a very long time during Pearson's 2nd reign right through to his team playing under Ranieri, with minimal injuries & hardly anyone injured & certainly not repeatedly

The fact we've got Slimani & Iborra potentially missing out for the same reason is probably coincidence, but if this crops up again or with others, then we may need to make changes

Slim injured his groin at Afcon

the groin injury happened before AFCON, he went there without being fully healed and aggravated it badly while there

Yeh Musa and Ndidi on the other hand were not injured and yet remarkably Nigeria were unbeaten during AFCON17

Standard 2 or 3-1 beating for me. Arsenal usually start well and then fade after Christmas. Can't see us coming away with anything but a lesson.

Arsenal's first day record is horrendous. They always blow games they should win.

I don't get the people on this forum TBH. A lot of people are saying Iborra is too slow for Leicester's game style and saying he's like another Andy King style-wise and Slimani injury-wise but now I can see in this thread a lot of people are worried that he won't play the Arsenal game.

Not being right for a 442 is one thing, but it sounds like we were going with a 3 in the middle and it's scuppered the plans... it also means Andy King is closer to playing time, which is never a good thing.

I advise you to avoid any threads with a poll. They will blow your mind.

Hello, you must be new around these parts. We're talking about Leicester City Football Club

We never beat Arsenal, we always lose at the Emirates & you have to go back the best part of 100 years to even see us winning a top flight game, away from home on the opening day.

Last season, after adding £70m of talent to a Premier League winning squad we went away to newly promoted Hull, managed by Mike Phelan... he only had 8 fit players in the whole squad and they beat us

We will not beat Arsenal, it is important however that we don't lose in the same way we lost away from home under Ranieri last season, we must play well, create chances & not get ripped apart - We can then hopefully look forward to a good result against Brighton

Get well ASAP Vince. I have to admit my hope we'll buy a creative CM or AM is getting Slim

We've already got Slim ... not sure we can adapt him to be a creative CM though ?
