He has a lot of work to do to dislodge Fuchs I feel. Some real basic errors. Pains me to see people praising him and questioning Amartey. When it comes to their first job defending, Chilwell was left behind tonight with too many questionable decisions. Fantastic in attack, hopefully the harder part at the back comes with time.

Atm Vardy and Okazaki are the first choice pairing, that will evolve into Vardy and Inenacho eventually. That would make Slimani 4th choice with the odd substitute appearance , will he be happy to be in that role? Could be that Slimani wants to be a starter and who would blame him? We might end up Keeping Ulloa and selling Slimani. Slimani has more than quality to be a Leicester starter. Of course he wouldn't be happy being the 4th choice, that is why I still think that if a good bid comes, he should go.

Take out the two wild shockers early on and it really wasn't a bad performance at all. He is a wild card, I like a few of them about the squad. Sublime and ridiculous in equal measure. Agreed. It seems odd when the fans get on the back of a player that clearly has something to offer. Maybe I'm too optimistic, but after seeing him at the Nou Camp, I will always believe the guy has potential. what do you think on Gray? He's so talented, but I see little clues in his body language that he wants out. I hope I'm wrong.

'until we receive an acceptable bid they remain our players' is pretty different to the comment two weeks ago that we aren't a club who intends selling our best players. He expects to lose at least one he would prefer to keep ...........

The best player on the pitch tonight was David Brooks. That guy is just 20 and, in my opinion, at least as good as Gray. We should try to get him. The window is still open.

It's worrying because, with all due respect, these are championship wingers that are repeatedly out-thinking him - it's hardly like he's being bullied by Hazard, Sanchez, Sane etc... Like you say, hopefully it comes in time, but I'm not convinced.

I do worry he believes the hype and won't be a team player here.

Just an example of good, quick and important distribution in the highlights. One good ball out to Leo for the second, but as the old saying goes "one swallow doesn't make a summer" - far more went to no-one.
simFox Posted 22 August 2017 Posted 22 August 2017 Good seeing Mendy have a run out. Made a few good runs, slim should have scored from his assist.
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 22 August 2017 Posted 22 August 2017 Thought Josh Knight looked good when he came on. Definitely a decent prospect for the future

Several good balls 2 of which had direct impacts on scoring attacks? I would say that's pretty effective. But as I say. We agree to disagree. I say no more.
Harry96 Posted 22 August 2017 Posted 22 August 2017 Shout out to Amartey who was solid and gets a lot of unwarranted hate on here at times. Useful player to have
Ric Flair Posted 22 August 2017 Posted 22 August 2017 How can us fans play a part in getting Ulloa gone? He gives me the willies, he's horrific.
fuchsntf Posted 22 August 2017 Posted 22 August 2017 This was a group of fringe players that had to settle, and find their own and team rythm. Too many posters on high expectancy levels. CS and squad as a whole should have a feel good factor. Silly comments singling out players for negative comments far far too early in the season to make comparisons . IMO...every single player tonight including subs, came out with plus points. Musa started somewhere in in the car park, but came then well into the game. Amartey shown he has something to offer, along the backline. Chilwell, needs good-game-time, he was left alone too often to defend against 2 players. Ndidi started also slow, then with King moved well going forward and covered good space in front of the backline. Slimani ran the line, like one expects from your top striker. Ulloa had a better last 30minutes, he needs winger prominance, or hes lost. Gray, once told to keep on the frontfoot and drive forward, he looked the business. He is still a young player, still learning his trade he just finished with the u21s not the over25s. Mendy did a good job in his cameo roll. Dont understand the too heavy Hamer critic. Because your Leicester fans, you shit yourselves and actually miss out on good games, and dive too early on the negatives. The 1st posts before the game to a man, every post expected hoof ball.... Our 1st half was still better than Sheff utd, but yes quite avg too what we wanted to see. We know these first EFL rounds are more than awkward, we grew more into the game x and deserved to win not 1-0 but 4-1 like we did. Today our wanna-BEs did a good job, so they deserve and have earned a good bit of backslapping....no more.no less. A true entertaining night.... grumpies are banned..!!
