Babylon Posted 22 August 2017 Posted 22 August 2017 What a weird game, everyone in the team was capable of some really great play and some complete muck in equal measure. Got to put it down to ring rust all around. Gray upped his game second half and changed things after a poor first. Musa continued to make brilliant runs and frustrate with poor balls. Slim played well all game, King and N'didi looked good and the back were comfortable enough.

Musa was playing like a Sunday League Player, Slim wanted to fight everyone, Ulloa hardly touched the ball...etc. Second half....scintillating! We got 4, it could have been more. We were just sensational going forward! I don't know....

Bugg Posted 22 August 2017 Posted 22 August 2017 Fitst half was absolutely dire but second half we really stepped it up and it turned into a very easy game for us. Slimani and Gray particularly impressive with Musa also growing into the game after a horrendous start. Also rudders should be sticking a bid in for that Brooks lad, looks a real talent.

adam Posted 22 August 2017 Posted 22 August 2017 Solid second half. Pleased for Musa. What he lacks in ability he makes up in effort. Hamer should be no where near the first team and we need to get rid of Ulloa before the window shuts. Slim took his goals well too oh and chilwell looked good.

TrentFox Posted 22 August 2017 Posted 22 August 2017 Lots of positives, albeit against Blades reserves. Though I take the puss out of him, i thought Musa, had a good game and a very good second half. Knight needs a competitive loan. He looked confident and assured. Great to see Mendy getting closer. Wish he had been given that extra 10-15 minutes to help his confidence and fitness thought Amartey had a very good game, too. Good run out all round.

martyn Posted 22 August 2017 Posted 22 August 2017 Slimani was sensational. Link up play was superb and was razor sharp all night. Looked extremely dangerous going forwards when the game opened up, encouraging.

I do think Gray should be dominating these types of games, though, if he wants to be seriously considered as an automatic starter. His goal was superb to be fair to him though. Hopefully this is the start of the road back for Mendy. Maguire was brilliant again. Chilwell was good. King had a good game too. Slim was excellent though. Very good game for him.

Shame Slimani was denied his hat trick - good to see Gray and Musa getting goals. Musa, despite a few misses was all over the pitch tonight and deserved his reward.
