Unpopular Opinions You Hold

I'm not a fan of Corbyn at all but that's daft.

If we're going in for sweeping unpopular opinions, here goes:

The very idea of social and economic models based on competition and a perverse kind of natural selection as currently used by many different powerful nations is much more of a threat to human civilization full stop than a Jeremy Corbyn led Labour government.

He is enthusiastic and doesn't take himself too seriously. And as Alf says he's improved his analysis. I find him infinitely preferable to Murphy or Shearer.

He's not afraid of having his own opinions and going against the script that 95% of pundits seem to be reading from, which is refreshing. He was a huge fan of Vardy's when he first broke into the national team (before the title season) despite criticism from elsewhere, for instance. He's got his faults, but like you both say he's improving with time.

I actually don't mind Shearer, usually. Certainly doesn't seem as enamored with the big clubs as most of his colleagues and gives credit to the 'smaller' teams where its due.

Jenas and Murphy are utter dross, though.

Shearer is the Beeb's best pundit by a distance (admittedly, the majority are dogshit), he's improved loads since his "HE DUN THAT AWL DEER" starting point.

To sling him in the same bracket as Murphy is a bit harsh. Phil Neville is a twat too.

I dislike Shearer more for who he is than his punditry.

Hamza is massively overrated by our fanbase.

Inclined to agree, though maybe massively is a bit harsh. He's been a part of a few great performances/results at home to Man City and away at Liverpool, Everton and Chelsea but I'm yet to see much evidence that his skill set extends beyond running about and tackling people, at which Ndidi is one of the best in the league. He's definitely a promising player and cult hero in the making and I hope he continues to get chances, but for me he's more someone to bring off the bench when we need to pack the midfield or hassle opponents than someone who ought to be a first-choice starter at the moment.

Coffee is a better drink than tea.

Took me 30 years to even try coffee but when it's good it's amazing. Cafe con leche in Spain is delicious and Cuban cortado's are ace. Still enyoy a good cuppa 1st thing in the morning but the fruit teas are a bit crap tbh..Also if you take your own tea bags abroad it tastes poor for some reason.

Anyone who puts milk into coffee, doesn't really like coffee. It's a completely different drink.

Pretentious movie critics/goers are just as bad as pretentious book critics. Just because you don't like a genre doesn't mean it's bad. Personally I don't like romantic movies or Musicals but I enjoy sci-fi and fantasy movies and books. Movie and book snobs should have a look in the mirror.

The same could be said about any country. Much better for whom?

People who need to be informed by the pundits are a subset of humanity. I'd prefer pundits and commentators were optional. I'd like to hear the crowd sounds and possibly a commentator telling me who is on the ball. I hate hearing their personal views, often relayed as facts, when I watch a match. One reason I quite often listen to foreign commentaries. Amazingly I find the US channel commentaries and "punditry" better than the UK ones.

Different but not necessarily worse. A lot of skill goes into making a good cappuccino, latte or flat white.  I'd even say that a well made flat white outshines all but the best espressos.

It is stupid and unlike Jon tbf.

Corbyn would just get blocked by Parliament and get very little through tbh. Probably make less actual policy change than Trump.

A bit of nationalisation and an increase to top end taxes are overdue.

Its ridiculous comparing UK labour to Venezuela. Notice how its never compared to socialist Portugal.

Yes a couple of pence on this and a couple of pence off that.Maybe attempt a bit of renationalisation. Not a hell of a lot would change despite his best efforts. However what scares the establishment would be his foreign policy.

Haha yeah ok. I love a coffee on it's own, what we call espresso is part of my daily routine. Of course it does taste different but it's still coffee.

People who say "Expresso" deserve to have it taken off them and given orange cordial instead.

My mum says this and no matter how many times I tell her she still says it. Not that she cares but it is frustrating ?

I don't know why people worry about size of clubs. What matters most is what is happening now. We are both in decent positions currently and plenty of clubs would swap in a heartbeat.

It really doesn’t bother me either but it seems to annoy a few on this forum.Wolves are a grand old club and deserve a bit of success.
