Its in the spirit of the thread I would think, but Imagine thinking Kante "deserves abuse".

I mean really, I know it's a very tribal sport but Fvcking hell.

Israel is an oppressor of the Palestinian people and I wish there was more demand and some sort of plan to put pressure on them or empower the Palestinians. I hate how every political party has a "friends of Israel" group that act as apologists for Israel.

Kante deserved/deserves abuse more than any other player that's left us for a significant fee since 15/16.

You think we would have won the league without him?

he was pivotal in the greatest sporting achievement ever and we got to be part of it. It happened to us! How someone could boo him isn’t just an unpopular opinion, it’s very strange.

Tbf I don't think @ealingfox meant abuse Kante, I think he meant compared to the rest because Kante was only here for a year and jumped at the first opportunity.

For me, personally, I would never abuse any of our title winning players. Heroes. I never boo Mahrez, he was so pivotal in what he achieved and then stayed here for another three or four seasons when he was so obviously to good for us.

I dunno man, imagine being a grown adult and booing another human being because they wanted to seek better employment opportunities and salaries elsewhere.

I'd have thought that energy was better spent creating an atmosphere, but then I remembered we're Leicester fans and the majority seem more bothered booing and being silent than actually encouraging the team. Carry on.

Behave. Mahrez? The fact he did not leave straight away was because of the club, not any love he had for the club.

This is true but it's not just us, lets be honest, it's pretty much every fanbase in the Country.

Forest play some of the best ball in England, and it would be refreshing to see them in the Prem.

Think even with their current team, considering how they completely dismantled us, they would challenge for top half.

Hammering our depleted team in a one off game they were really up for or thumping mid table championship teams for fun is something; its another doing it week after week in the premier league.

Well, I think they’d do better than Brentford, who are 3 points off the top half despite being shit for a lot of the season.

And Norwich destroyed the Championship getting 99 points last season and looked much stronger than this Forest side.

Plenty of sides have a crazy 6-9 months or so after a mid-season manager bounce like Forest have then revert to their mean again. Happened to Solkjear at ManUtd, happened to us under Pleat, happened to Reading under Brian McDermott, Sunderland under Roy Keane, Palace under Iain Dowie etc. etc.

Brentford slowly built a side over many years which improved year on year and had also finished 3rd the previous year before they got promoted. Forest have been a bottom half side for several seasons who are now suddenly playing like a promotion side after a change of manager, I don’t buy that all these players who were bottom half Championship players for so many years are suddenly top half PL players.

On paper, Forest’s squad is nowhere near good enough to hack it in the PL and they’d need some serious additions if they do go up.

Add in most of their best players are loans, so if they wanted to keep them that'd be most of their budget gone as well.

Don’t like statues, don’t like the revisionist role they play, glad those of you who like a bit of lionisation are content. Funny how we will never have one depicting lads on Bentley’s Roof or folks out with buckets saving the club.

To be fair we probably would if they fell off the roof tragically, or the got mown down by a bus while fundraising.  Tragedy does rather lend itself to such emotional tributes imo.

Out of all the teams in contention, I think I’d prefer Spurs to finish top 4.

More than Arsenal?

I don't really care about Spurs at all, but there is at least a certain entertainment value in them not getting top 4 again.

Oh of course. I’d laugh if they didn’t get it too.
