UK airports are actually quite decent. I'm not saying they are nice places to be, but there's usually plenty of places to eat, plenty of shops and available toilets. By contrast, there was only one cafe in our terminal at Barcelona Airport when I was there a few days ago and finding a toilet was hardly straight forward.

I'd never flown from Stansted until recently, departing it's a dream. Straight through security and into the pub (although the spoons needs to open the upstairs part)

Uber Eats is the worst thing in the world.

 

We're away for a few day, slightly drunk, ordered 2 tubes of pringles, some haribo starmix and 4 bottles of Moretti.

 

The driver turned up with a 35g pack of steak McCoys and 4 cans of Fosters.

 

I politely told him to **** off.

 

Unbelievable.

I'm pretty sure that is the fault of the shop you ordered from not the driver.

British airports will give out a sunflower lanyard  to parents of special needs children. This serves as a notification to the staff that someone might need a bit of extra support. My son is autistic and finds loud noises difficult so they took him to a quieter lane for security… just little things like that. Staff weren’t so brash with him, etc. heathrow also has multi sensory rooms for special needs kids so they can wait in a calmer environment for flights, etc.

Everyone kicking off about Katie Price not going down ..  but when I read what happened I think the judge was right.  She didn’t directly contact the other party or put her comments in the public domain. No case to answer.

Paul McCartney is not the musical genius he's made out to be. Watching him now on Glastonbury. Rubbish. Nothing without Lennon.

Well he is now 80 and his voice is not what it was. Having said that he wrote some marvellous songs that have stood the test of time. Quite prepared to cut him some slack. Not many professions we expect such seniors to be compared to their younger selves. Of course John never got the chance to grow old

Actually what meant to say McCartney was no lyrical genius but as a musician he probably was great with Lennon beside him. Just watched him alongside Dave Ghrol.. so inferior...

Hardly fair to compared him now to his in the 60s to 80s.

 

Pele and Beckenbauer would be crap at football at 75+ years now bar the odd touch, doesn't mean they werent greats in their time.

He's responsible for some of the greatest popular songs of all time, with and without Lennon.

Both incredible songwriters.
