Was that on Sky? Missed that.

Yes it was after the vardy interview at school, and build up to Monday.

All agreed on paper we are good enough for mid table, but the pressure is on Shakespeare, and he's been quite defensive.

Quote from Shakey

I’ve spoken about trying to win the ball back at certain times a bit more, but that’s every coach.

How about trying not to give it away so easily in the first place?

Can’t wait for the “I’d have taken a point before the game” quote on Monday night

Starting every answer with "in terms of"

I said this the other day, "ultimately" is another one of his favourites.

Hes done so much good here but is really starting to get on my tits and his Legacy is going down the pan.

For balance, I'll point out that, in the greater scheme of things, none of us really knows what's going on, and we're involved in online village gossip. In other words, I suspect we all need to get out more - I know that I do.

Yes, I agree. Worrying comment. I would like to think they are concentrating on retaining possession and not treating the ball like a hot potato!!

We don't know what the question was, so hard to judge.

If Silva had come in the last transfer window, would his experience have change matters to some extent?

I don't think it will have made any difference.  Until CS sets us up differently nothing will change.

You know, I know and the whole world knows that when he is here it'll be a 442 with a midfield two of Silva and Iborra/Ndidi.

He hasn't got the confidence to change our system.  Even when it stares him in the face with our ever persisting poor performances.  Continuing to persist with the same system and expecting different outcomes is madness.

Serious question are there any fans out there who secretly hope we lose to wba so Shakespeare gets sacked so it's sooner rather than later. I know you should not think like that but in all seriousness I can't see him lasting before xmas. Obviously I want us to win against wba but you just feel like your prolonging the agony if Shakespeare stays.

I’m not far off that feeling. Look how silva has improved Watford. If only a manager  like him had been available this summer

Nothing in part to do with Watford's excellent signings also? Something Silva has no say at all in.

No, exactly the opposite! I hope we totally annihilate them and see a complete turn around to our season

For one, it would give a new trend of positive threads on FT..

I’d say the coach has to put those signings into a system that works for them

I think thr right formation for us would be 433.... as our defenders can play 4 at the back!  The problem is the mid three....even if silva was ok to play we would still have just 4cms... this makes

Mendy decision looks crazy.

We have only got the squad for 442... yet that wont work against a cm3....

Poor old craig.... hes going to have to soldier on and hope a few results keep him in his job.... i am doubting it will work out

There shouldn't be. We need the points. Sack him after winning if we have to.

Still think he needs time to learn from his mistakes.

Going to revisit this thread in exactly a week's time by which time we will have played West Brom and Swansea.

Two wins ..  or a win and a draw and things look a lot brighter.

Lose both and I think he'll be gone a week on Monday.

looking forward to his bizarre substitutions tonight and his insistence on 442 with Andy King pulling the strings in midfield.  He stood on the halfway line in his scruffy tracksuit, arms folded scratching his head.  Our players looking frightened to cross the halfway line and our sideways and backwards passing.  Oh and the hoof upfield from big Wes at the back.

Yes a good walk on the High-Peaks , gives a totally new and Varying perspective...

Its just the gossip echos even heavier , when one returns to the mundane...

the level of gossip reflects the real frustration of the fans
