knitro Posted 29 October 2017 Posted 29 October 2017 First goal was a thing of beauty - second half the less said the better.
Sir Shep Posted 29 October 2017 Posted 29 October 2017 3 wins in a row, WTF!!! So happy I might even go in to work smiling tomorrow!

The Doctor Posted 29 October 2017 Posted 29 October 2017 Fantastic from grey, second half was a long slog but they didn't get close to scoring. Reminiscent of the way we killed off games feb/march in the title season
Phube Posted 29 October 2017 Posted 29 October 2017 Nice to see Puel talking to Mahrez at the end. Hopefully explaining his decision to take him off without having him being sulky.
Scotch Posted 29 October 2017 Posted 29 October 2017 Wasn't able to watch the game because of work. Kept an eye on the score and saw the line-up. What kind of formation did we play and how were We?

FuchingKante Posted 29 October 2017 Posted 29 October 2017 Some of the attacking play in the first half was a breath of fresh air. Second half was awful to watch but we got the job done.
Guest the fox Posted 29 October 2017 Posted 29 October 2017 this forum gonna be so boring for the next 6-7 days without the meltdowns
StriderHiryu Posted 29 October 2017 Posted 29 October 2017 First 30 were great and full of potential. Gray’s best game for us and the interchange looked exciting. The second half was probably more of what we expected the Puel era to be but we were 2-0 up and had good chances on the break. Intrigued to see how we get on in the next few games.
CloudFox Posted 29 October 2017 Posted 29 October 2017 Hmm interesting. Puel and Mahrez pictured walking together and Puel explaining something in detail. Good to see, and seems like Puel's taking a special effort with him. (Disclaimer: I know it's just one camera shot, but it's an interesting one you don't often see after matches)
Tuna Posted 29 October 2017 Posted 29 October 2017 Well done, an excellent victory. We're now in 11th, with a 0 goal difference and 4 points off the relegation zone. Unbeaten in 5 as well. Crisis, what crisis! Very pleased for Claude Puel in his opening match. We looked seriously good in the first half. Sat back in the second half and absorbed pressure and did Kasper have anything to do other than deal with corners? I felt Chilwell and Albrighton should have been swapped earlier. Gray played brilliantly, pleased for him but my MOTM was Big Wes Morgan who is looking like the rock from 15/16 again. Everton cannot score goals. They've no strikers and are in serious trouble.

HitchinFox Posted 29 October 2017 Posted 29 October 2017 Very, very pleased with that. Puel throwing in Gray and reworking our midfield is what won us that game – so a great start for him personally too.
