ALC Fox Posted 10 November 2017 Posted 10 November 2017 I'd love it if we slapped in a bid for Loftus-Cheek next summer!
ARTY_FOX Posted 10 November 2017 Posted 10 November 2017 Lingard has to score that.... awful footballer really.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 10 November 2017 Posted 10 November 2017 Just now, Nalis said: A 3 man defence of Jones, Stones and Maguire would actually be decent in the world cup to be fair. Sadly Cahill will be forced in somehow. This has probably been Stone's best game in an England shirt, by a country mile. He can be sacrificed.
ScouseFox Posted 10 November 2017 Posted 10 November 2017 Harry Maguire has never lost a back post header. fact.
yorkie1999 Posted 10 November 2017 Posted 10 November 2017 Lingard ain’t got any better since he played for us
KFS Posted 10 November 2017 Posted 10 November 2017 Fvck off Lingard. Remember when his mum came onto FT to say how we were all wrong about him
ARTY_FOX Posted 10 November 2017 Posted 10 November 2017 Surely you can't complain about loftus-cheek getting motm? He deserved it to be fair. Yes Maguire played well and pickford could have took it too but loftus-cheek had an extremely good game.
Guest Col city fan Posted 10 November 2017 Posted 10 November 2017 How the fook does Lingard play for Man Utd, earning 100k per week? He alone is a sad indictment of modern football. Bang average is being paid Monopoly money.
Vacamion Posted 10 November 2017 Posted 10 November 2017 Maguire looked the part. Vardy's talents wasted. Boring, side to side passing necessitatedby our complete lack of midfield skill. We all know what's coming next Summer. We'll lose to the first half decent side we play. So depressing.
Webbo Posted 10 November 2017 Posted 10 November 2017 Maguire got plenty of praise from Hoddle, he got a mention as a possible MOTM. Certainly didn't do himself any harm.

Yes he did, he said the way Maguires played today has been excellent and I’m sure that garath will be happy with him, at 89 minutes when he chose loftus cheek as the man of the match

bluesbrothers Posted 10 November 2017 Posted 10 November 2017 Maggie doing the business at the end. Has to be nailed on in a back 3 with Stones and Jones, surely? We looked better tonight than we have done at any point in the whole qualifying campaign, and finding a way to get Vardy, Kane and Loftus-Cheek to play in the first XI has to be the next priority. I think tonight showed we have the tools to build a genuinely good team. It's the first time I've had a positive feeling coming out of an England match for a long time, and that wasn't just because 2 Leicester players played - the fringe players tonight, if there's any justice in the world, should have given Southgate a real headache.
st albans fox Posted 10 November 2017 Posted 10 November 2017 Harry struggled early on after his error but grew into the game and did v well second half
Nalis Posted 10 November 2017 Posted 10 November 2017 In fairness to Lingard, as sarky as this might sound, he's great at doing the stuff on the pitch which doesnt actually involve the ball, eg, making runs to draw out defenders etc. There was a decent video doing the rounds summarising this. The above basically means he's the last person you want a chance to come to though.
SystonFox Posted 10 November 2017 Posted 10 November 2017 I’d love to snap lingaard in two. Useless waste man

Bullshit..Hoddle if you have ears mentioned Maguire..as one of his choices, but will give it to Cheeky boy
Webbo Posted 10 November 2017 Posted 10 November 2017 Charity cap for Jack Cork, wtf is he doing in an England squad?
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 10 November 2017 Posted 10 November 2017 I’m just glad Harry Maguire and Jamie Vardy both played for England tonight otherwise i couldn’t give a shite
