Maguire will be a chelsea player come the summer as a replacement for side show bob. 

 

Just hope rudkin hasnt stiched us up.

I'm going to give some praise to Southgate. 

 

It's genuinely refreshing to see players like Maguire getting picked (and probably making the world cup squad) ahead of the likes of Smalling. I hope it makes some of these supposedly big players think about whether they would be better off sitting on the bench of a big club or playing first team football.

Arry did his usual thing a couple of times up the left wing -he also gave a terrible back pass first minute and like stones took a lot of chances in close possession.

Wasn't a bad game (it was Germany) to watch but the build up play was so pedestrian.

Vardy did Ok but again seemed to spend the crucial moments on the back post rather than moving in front of his man.

Stones is always dicing with disaster. ... he will be made to look a monkey in Russia.  

Problem vardy has is that he is an unorthodox specialist and doesnt fit the tottenham based structure ...so i expect him to make the russia squad but be used as an impact sub once the games are lost.

Nb. Our euro  tirnsment wis fononated by a liad of spurs losers who were low on confidence. ..... spurs will won nowt this year and we will repeat this mistake.  How about picking some winners?

Best England performance to watch in ages. Maguire was outstanding after a shaky start. loved the back 3 with Stones looking excellent and the wing backs attacking well.

Agree Vardy will surely be in the squad but must be resigned to being a sub/impact player.

Englands full 'first team' is pretty impressive when they play on full throttle.Need to loosen the shackles but probably will not.

Vardy could be top scorer in the league this season but would still get booted out for Kane and Ali come the World Cup.

We are so so so so lucky to have vardy, if people didn't already realise ?, his link up play was very good and he unlucky not to score. For me he has to start with Kane in a 532, we'll only have 30% possession mind but who cares

Shame Gray is no longer getting called up.


Having said that though it makes sense as he doesn't fit in to the current tactic.


Call ups for Angus Gunn (GK) Lewis Cook in CM and Solanke up top.

 

Would like to see Cook play i think he's excellent.

With him now starting games for us probably good for him to come back to belvoir drive for some quiet work. solanke isn't  good enough yet  (similar to Abraham). I like cook.

Really want to see Lewis Cook get some game time on Tuesday.

 

Thought he looked excellent against us earlier in the season and obviously did great things with the under 20s. We're desperately thin in midfield.

He's a great talent, along with Winks and Loftus-Cheek. I'd love it if we were to fcuk off the likes of Henderson and Ox for these.
