RowlattsFox Posted 10 November 2017 Posted 10 November 2017 What are the chances of Vardy being on the wing?
foxinsocks Posted 10 November 2017 Posted 10 November 2017 This is all nonsense. What is southgate learning from this?

Still don't get the Pickford hype but it's a good chance for him to stake a claim.

I always assumed he left us to have one last chance of becoming an international given its World Cup year and he was overlooked at Leicester. At the current rate he will be sold or loaned out at the end of the year, probably to a bottom 10 side. He’s not our player anymore but what he did for us will never be forgotten. Seems like a tragic and totally unnecessary fall from grace. More than likely his club have said no you're not going we've just paid £30 Million for you we don't want to risk you etc etc. He's definitely going to have a sulk about that though which we all know will affect his form. He'll be a Leicester City player again next August at a reduced price.

daddylonglegs Posted 10 November 2017 Posted 10 November 2017 If this 11 excel tonight excel and remain in and around the 1st 11 until the WC it will change absolutely nothing. Southgate doesn't know what his best team is, but he knows who he has to pick. Hart & Henderson are the two who are completely undroppable, and are the two who probably play in the most important positions on the pitch.

We all know how English managers love their safety.

themightyfin Posted 10 November 2017 Posted 10 November 2017 Don’t you just know Vardy will be on the wing again. what does he have to do to get a chance in the number 9 shirt?

He's branded Hart Englands number 1 several times and theres talk of Henderson being captain. It's mental, but it is what it is
HybridFox Posted 10 November 2017 Posted 10 November 2017 Actually looking forward to an England game for once
TheUltimateWinner Posted 10 November 2017 Posted 10 November 2017 Glad Rose is starting, he's been class for Spurs this season
Filberts lovechild Posted 10 November 2017 Posted 10 November 2017 Don't pay much attention to England but last time Leicester had x2 starting for England? Ever happened?
JohnB Posted 10 November 2017 Posted 10 November 2017 Being old, my memory might not be too good but I think we once had Shilton, Whitworth and Nash as 1,2 and 3.

Sir Shep Posted 10 November 2017 Posted 10 November 2017 Didn't guppy and Heskey start for England together before Heskey went to the pool?

Sir Shep Posted 10 November 2017 Posted 10 November 2017 I've just checked, guppy started and Heskey came on for shearer against belguim in October 1999. Guppy played the whole game and ''twas his only cap.
Sir Shep Posted 10 November 2017 Posted 10 November 2017 Vardy has a great record against Germany, it's one from one!
bluesbrothers Posted 10 November 2017 Posted 10 November 2017 While we're at it, that remembrance service was beautiful and impeccably observed by everybody. I was pissed off earlier today to find that work didn't have anything planned for today or Monday, but that more than made up for it. Welled up a little.
