Lambert09 Posted 3 November 2017 Posted 3 November 2017 http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/41857314 Completely put the bad memories of his stint to the back of my head, until this blast from the past. I know he wasnt here very long but he was so woeful, I remember not wanting to watch the games he was playing in. He made Lamey look like a professional footballer. Enjoy league 2 Cobblers.
mod hero Posted 3 November 2017 Posted 3 November 2017 Remember that game away to Reading on sky? He was taken apart. doggo
Wymsey Posted 3 November 2017 Posted 3 November 2017 Shows how desperate the club was when they had him. I remember some member on here completely adored McGivern and defended him when others were strongly criticise him.
bovril Posted 3 November 2017 Posted 3 November 2017 Who was the left back we got the next season who was actually quite promising?

Koke Posted 3 November 2017 Posted 3 November 2017 He was shocking at left back but was less bad at CB. I think he had 1 or 2 games at CB where he didn't look as disastrous as he did as LB.

Guest Electric Yetis Posted 3 November 2017 Posted 3 November 2017 I would say Jacob Laursen. Fairly decent before he came to us but utterly woeful here with an attitude to match.

Tuna Posted 3 November 2017 Posted 3 November 2017 Lee Marshall was fairly horrendous. I remember one abysmal performance at Bolton, 2-2 draw in 2002, this was the game with about 3 red cards.
goose2010 Posted 3 November 2017 Posted 3 November 2017 Robbie Neilson wasnt exactly great and Ben Mee must have had the worst debut ever in football.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 3 November 2017 Posted 3 November 2017 Hossein Kaebi the prince of persia was probably worse

He ended up forming a pretty good partnership with Bamba though, I was gutted when Sven didnt sign him the following season

That's the one I first thought of. Turned into one of the most underrated footballers in the country imo, no secret that defenders who play alongside him look great.
Gazza M Posted 3 November 2017 Posted 3 November 2017 Lee Marshall. The worst full back we have ever had in the top flight. Thanks Peter T, another gem you found!

Totally agree he is massively underated.
SpacedX Posted 3 November 2017 Posted 3 November 2017 In terms of a centre back? Nicky Mohan was pretty dire whilst Sinclair will always be remembered for his own goal double.
