The sticking block is Spurs asking for stupid money. He wants to come and has been sold on the ambition the club has promised as far as future investment goes into the club and improving the squad. The owners are not happy playing second fiddle to the top boys and want to establish us sooner rather than later. He wants to play games and be first choice.
