How long have you been watching football?

 

Playing a disjointed second string team against a lower league opposition in the cup, away, is a recipe for disaster.

Mystified by people wanting away draws... Would prefer home draws against lower league opposition and then win the cup... Without any nasty banana skins.....

Palace and Watford should have been lessons learnt about not turning up but obviously it's still not hitting home.

(I appreciate the examples were different players, different teams, but it's the same principle and the whole squad should be learning)

I sensed after 30 secs watching the game that we were 1) not up for it and 2) it would be a long and hard afternoon. We were off the pace everywhere and I was surprised we snaffled a replay. I stuck £100 on for us to win the FA Cup and I feel that is as good as gone given our p*ss poor performance. As to the draw it may not matter cos I remember going to see Huddersfield at home when they beat us in a replay.

 

Unless we take it seriously we are wasting our time. 

 

I'd like Forest away but I am not sure we will get that far. :-(

Imagine not wanting to be drawn with a league 2 club away because you're scared of the ridicule if we lost. Imagine being too scared of the easiest route through because you're too scared we'd **** it up. Imagine complaining about the pitch or the opposing fans when our players don't turn up. The state of you lot. This is disgusting elitism. We obviously aren't too good to play them or on their pitches. Your FEAR of ****ing it up shows our weakness. Imagine that our team that could cost £100M to assemble can't devour their ragtag bunch. Take the gift. Prove that we have the quality that came with the pricetag. Don't shelter our underachievers. We have £50K a week players playing against £500 a week players. They deserve to be embarrassed if they can't get through.

Notts County at home. A different local game, a big away following and a chance to get through (should we beat Fleetwood, obviously).
