Although we're not completely out of the woods ourselves yet we should have enough winnable home games to keep us safe this season and hopefully do much better than just staying up.  The bookies certainly don't seem to think we're in any danger with odds of up to 500/1 available (not that they've ever been wrong before!)

It's looking like it could be quite an open scrap this season with at least 10 teams who could realistically get dragged into it and the added uncertainty of so many new managers battling to turn things around. For what it's worth the 3 current bookies' favourites are Swansea, West Brom and Stoke but my question is who would you prefer to see go down of those who are realistically in danger?

I have to say the only team outside of the top 6 that I have really strong feelings against would be Stoke (bitter memories of 2008) but other than them I would probably say Palace and Watford.

Swansea definitely. I don't like Newcastle so not bothered about them. But then I'm not sure. I don't like Palace or their fans but it's a good away day.

Stoke and West Brom are good away days so not them. I don't mind West Brom either, they're a proper traditional football club.

I like Hughton (and obviously Knockaert) and don't mind Brighton.

Defiantly Swansea they have basically done what Sunderland did for several years and that’s scrape buy year by year with players that are just ok or can do a job . It’s only a matter of time before you eventually get relegated if you are constantly standing still and everyone else is improving .

Southampton don’t know  why and I’d love West Ham but that’s  not going to happen

Hopes:

It’s time for the Bournemouth fairy tale to end in recrimination.

West Ham going on a terrible run and going down would be hilarious, but isn’t going to happen.

Newcastle continue to be badly run and it looks like Ashley isn’t selling, after all, so they might well go back down.

Expects:

But yeah, Swansea, Stoke and Southampton probs for the drop.

Swansea. Definitely. Been hanging around like a guff in a lift for way too long.

Ilike Newcastle. Rather not see them go down again. Other than that, I'm not bothered.

I've got to agree with you, even if it's just for the analogy Raw Dykes :D

Stoke and West Brom hopefully. Proper boring boring football clubs

This would leave just us (and probably Wolves) from the Midlands.

Changed days from the 70s and 80s.

Swansea can fvck off. I think it's quite likely they will anyway.

Would be fairly happy to see Bournemouth go, West Ham and/or Newcastle would be hilarious but I think they'll probably both stay up.

Newcastle are about the only ones out of the current Prem that I'd want to see go down. I've got a really irrational distaste for them and I've got no idea why!

Hope Brighton stay up I like a lot of their players - got a lot of mates who are Palace fans so it's always a good laugh when we play them, hope they stay up - West Brom I don't mind - Bournemouth, meh - Stoke I don't really mind either.

Swansea, Brighton and Huddersfield to go for me.

Don't want Brighton or huddersfield to go but think Palace definitely, Stoke and with Benitez at Newcastle have a bit more about them to stay up.
