He won’t leave. We’re no mugs and will hold on until they match our valuation of him. It’s tough tits if he wants to go, also there’s no replacement. We won’t just give up our best player without a replacement.

It was his decision.

This is true, although I know which I’d plump for

If he wants to go and they pay the money, get it done and quickly. I love Riyad, would love him to see the season through and back his ability/agent to the get the move when the club have the time to replace him. However, this is now turning into a complete farce.

My excitement now turns to who we replace him with the £90 million that will come in ?

We should tell Mahrez, that is too late in this window for us to get a replacement. Let him get a pre-contract agreement in place with Man City, IF we get £70m, he can join in the summer. End of.

Bear in mind we dont know if mahrez refused to travel, what I think is more likely the manager decided his head wont be in the right place if he just made a transfer request.

Or if the worst has happened hes not going because he will be doing the move, medical etc, like sanzhec did when he didnt play for arsenal.

How do you that that it was his personal decision not to?

Might've been Puel, over fears his transfer request could affect team morale etc.

Well banging in a transfer request the day before the deadline and a match has given me that opinion

Pressure is all on us.

Do we faff about waiting late to accept the offer and risk being 14 seconds late getting a deal over the line  for a replacement or do we keep hold of a player who is now refusing to play and train?

It's ridiculous if u don't let him to go and ruin his career for just ur greeed... He will hate you for it and lots of ppl do too.... Take the money and move on... Not long ago u were hoping for 40 even 30... Ridiculous!

50mill valuation + 50 mill for his importance to us + 50 mill for day before deadline. If I were in charge I'd accept no less than £150 million.

Let's face it , he will only refuse to train until the window closes he's under contract for like 3 more years so if he refuses to train or play he does not get paid simple

Pretty stupid to sign a contract if it's going to ruin your career.
