Yeah I do.

We actually don't know what has gone on.

I just want to to see him doing his stuff again in our shirt, he's Mahrez ffs.

He's the guy who wanders past world class defenders, the guy who laughs at a Man U defence while he slips in Vardy to score, puts the ball through legs of people while we laugh, controls the ball from 60 yards in the air, drops it on his heel, sends Chelsea defenders into a Strictly routine while he scores and I've not even mentioned that drag he used to do which he'll whip out in the FA Cup final.

All artists are bastards, Van Gogh sliced his ear, Picasso refused to budge until his brother died, this is what they do.

If you don't want to fall in love with an artist then don't fall in love with guys like him, the man is a genius. Just watch that goal against Man City. He's our Michaelangelo and I can't do anything but love him.

Be strong in your belief. He tried to instigate a snidey little move for himself. He didn't care too much for others, as long as he was alright.

Stand your ground. Bench him or leave him in the Under 23's until he buys his way out or contract runs down. This sort of behaviour needs to stop. Just because there is money in football, it doesn't mean it should go directly in a players pocket. The club you sign with are making a commitment to you by guaranteeing you your wages for the length of your contract. If you get injured, you are still paid and looked after.

Never shit on your own doorstep Riyad!

If we make a stand now, player power will diminish and Leicester City will be remembered for bringing some sense of standards back to the game and not just that title win.

This wont be up to puel or mahrez whether he plays now. Think the Thais will have something to say.

To be honest he can go **** off and die.

The first time I forgave him, this time I can’t , I feel bloody hurt by his actions.

I love this club and he has took the piss, even if he plays again for us he has lost that respect.

I would rather see Diabate play, yes we may get a Europa place, but that’s not guaranteed, and some of the interchange football between Vardy, Inheanacho and Diabate in the first half was breath taking.

That at least means we still have a lot to look forward to.

he should imo,

he certainly isnt doing himself any favours in not and wanting to show himself in a good light for other clubs in the summer, his attitude and all that will cost him if he doesnt buck up his ideas imo, though he needs to apologies for the childish was hes acted and realise he needs to sack his agent, but his agent is Kai Joorabchian and we know what a snake he can be.

the whole transfer saga is a bit bloody annoying tbh

A firm no from me.

If I was the owner I'd make him see out the rest of his contract sitting on the subs bench for the under 23's.

First of all he needs fining, for downing tools and walking off the job.

No-one can deny he has acted stupidly and been advised extremely badly.

He needs to see the error of his ways get is head down and be transferred in the summer.

He has proved to all that he wants away so let's see what happens in the close season.

Of course he should.

If we planned on never playing him again then we should have sold him. Paying someone £100k a week to not play for the next four months is stupid business.

Its a no from me. for two reasons:

1. The premiership is about margins.Look at our win in 2015-16  and Bournemouth  and Burnley now. In all cases its not the best team team that performed when required it's because the players were willing to give 110% on the pitch. There is NO way Mahrez will do that and in a team you can't afford to carry passengers.

2. We're not going to get relegated or win the title and Europe is a long shot. Ok we may do well in the FA cup but so far that's been without Mahrez. We know he is going at the end of the season so let's blood a few players and get them ready for next year.

Over and out!

He is the best player I personally have ever seen wear the blue of Leicester, but I am sorry, I cannot forgive him for his out right disrespect for our club (a second time).

I think he may play again but I really dont know how I will react. Will I cheer when he scores? I think I will jump out of my seat, realise who just scored it and then give myself a firm slap

Get rid. Wouldn’t want to see him in a Leicester shirt again. He needs to remember that it was us that gave him the platform to be what he is today. If it weren’t for us taking a chance on him, he’d be a nobody. Ungrateful ****.

Sums it up nicely!

Mahrez has well and truly burnt his boats at LCFC now..

Hopefully the owners will make sure he never puts on a Leicester shirt ever again!

Good player he maybe but a disgraceful human being to go with it!

He is under contract and we still have a chance of a Europa league spot so yes.

However we have to accept he is going in the summer so think we need to be selective with his starts and not rely on him too much

Posted

He'll get his move in the summer. I feel Man City have done this on purpose to unsettle him so they can offer less in June. Which is really annoying. And that they left it late so negotiation was impossible. I really feel they've been in Riyad's ear and told him to wait it out to get a better deal for himself.

Whats more annoying is that they think Roberts is a good replacement for us and that they think we are so small time that we will accept bids well below the asking value. If he was at Liverpool, United etc he would be going for in excess of 100 mill. His stats are better than Coutinho in some areas for goodness sake. 60 Mill is an insult to us and Riyad.

Puel and the club are giving him every oppertunity to come back and do the right thing, he needs to take that oppertunity very quickly, otherwise the door will be shut. We have promising young talent at this club, talent that wants to play and wants to do the best for us. Riyad was once under that category, but if he's going to let it get to his head, then he can go.

If he's prepared to apologise and sort himself out and continue to provide for the club that has made him, then I will, just about forgive him.

No it doesn't sum it up nicely.

Yes we picked Mahrez from nowhere but was part of the team that has given us unreal memories that we will never forgot. Think of people in years gone by that have never lived the day to see this club win the top flight.

Some of you are ungrateful and don't seem to understand clubs like Manchester City are bigger than us and represent a better chance of winning silverware consistently.

Mahrez is our most creative player, of course he should be playing for us.

If he does come back into the fold, will we just get half-hearted sulky performances?

He’s gone in the summer so I’d say develop the players like Gray/Diabate ready for next season in his place, but.......... if he does come back into the team it gives us the best chance we’ve got of progressing in the FA cup.

I’d be amazed if he turns up for training until after the Man City game.

This means that, currently, there are 69 of you who I’d not trust with a pair of nail clippers or allow to go outside without a special safety hat.

Spectacularly stupid.
