Vardy, Gray, Chilwell very good.

Kasper was much better than last week but possibly the second best gk on display tonight. We really need someone who can control the box like their guy did. Corners into the yd box and we looked vulnerable their guy caught everyone.

Iborra did the usual looked great and then gave the ball away 3 times. Ndidi is some player.

Wish Amartey was playing instead of Simpson. what has he done to disappear so quickly?

We moved the ball too slowly and had a couple of players who killed the ball. Mahrez had a good game but dribbled for too long too often and really needs to consider a first time cross occasionally, he has the vision and the skill but doesn't do it.

Happy with the win. now let's hope we don't get Man City away in the next round. Hopefully a home game again.

Really?  Did you see how often chilwell gave the ball away under no pressure. He’s a liability and a better team would have had him all over the place all night. Gray was gray which amounts to very little these days.

Agree on Simpson. Him and Morgan as half a back four just slows us down too much as neither like moving the ball forward

Anyone know what was going on outside the front of the stadium at full time. Seemed like some fighting but multiple flashing lights both ambulance and police still arriving now and one sheff united bus has stayed behind?

Thought we played decent, hard to break a team down who come to defend, and look to nick a goal, maybe some seem to hold us in higher regard then maybe they should be, if we had took our chances the score could have been 4 maybe 5, that's how football goes sometimes, winning breeds confidence, well played lads

What did we think of Wes tonight? Disappointed to see Drags and Mags split up... I thought they we building a good partnership personally.

Interesting who Lines Up for the Next PL Game....

I always saw Simpson and Morgan as Major stalwarts, and defended them, when some couldnt

See how strong they have been for City,..

Now,I Reckon we need more positive ,/confident on the Ball players in their positions.

Funny Thing is I believed,Simpson always looked confident on the Ball,

however his Return Games, hes looked Shakey around the halfway Line,

that said ,as a Team, our passing around midfield

IMO ,is not yet crisp or commited enough, and we are often taking each Others Space,by Crossing each other at the wrong time.

They beat QPR in the final after a replay I think. The semi at Villa Park was my first away game.

Didn't think at the time that we wouldn't get to another semi for (at least 35 years)!

Yes, you are right. It was QPR 1982.

The Man City final replay was the season before.

Disagree on Mahrez,we needed him and Gray,to be selfish today, plus Riyhad Mixed If Well.

Sometimes trying to Take players on,sometimes getting a Cross in.

Exactly this! Mahrez is the type of player who will try different things in a game. Most of those tries will fail or lead to nothing but he will more often than not get results. I hope more people see this and not give the typical comment "Besides the goal or the assist he was aweful"

I think Einstein said “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results.”

Few comments bashing Wes, seriously

He did alright tonight, no mistakes, majority of defending was done by Maguire though.

It's good to have Wes back, Dragovic has been brilliant recently but Wes was doing well before he got injured, first time in a while where our centre back options look pretty strong.

Wasn’t the best game tonight certainly didn’t pull up any trees !!

But at least it’s a win and another step closer to a trip to Wembley, a quarter final place awaits us and much stronger opposition so we’ll need to step up our performances!!

Time for Puell to sort out this team and get them in the right frame of mind to keep pace with the top 6 in the prem, we know we can play awesome but of late we’re having far too many Jeckyll and Hyde performances hit and miss slack games whatever you want to call them but now it’s time for the lads to step up to the mark !!

Of Late???!!      We have had a so far the whole season of J+H performances,

but our smokey potions, have got ust to 8th chasing either a great 7th,or a positive top 9.

Ffs We have the whole "Hammer" collection in our locker..:D

Would normally have just gave you a confused vote there but have ran out of notifications today. Chilwell as did every other player today did give the ball away. But he also played really well moving forward, if i had the technical abilities would post video shots with passes he made into the box, I think you are being very harsh. You think Fuchs would have played better? I personally dont.

With regards to Gray, i am not his biggest fan but again i think apart from the odd brain fart had a good game!

Wes didnt bring anything tonight and although i think we could find a better replacement for Simpson in the summer, he wasnt horrible tonight.

If i have any moan about tonight of any of our players, it would have been Nacho. I would rather he was subbed out and Diabate was given a try. But at the end of the day We are in to the Quarter Finals :D so all good

I wouldnt say 'bashing' and i think this was a game for him to come back in after injury. Im just not sure he fits in right now. Compare him to Maguire tonight and basically there was no comparison.

Agree its great to have him back and in a game where our defence is getting hammered i think he will perform really well. But tonight he didnt do anything :(

Mahrez was the stand out performer and I’m really glad he put in a shift. Did anyone else notice how he didn’t go over to celebrate with the rest of the team after Vardy’s goal. Get the feeling Vardy game him a piece of his mind in the behind closed doors meeting with the players. Hope they patch it up as our team spirit is so much a part of our identity and strength.

Thought it was going to be 0-0, but that crucial goal gets us to the next round!

We struggled to get past Sheffield United’s 2nd team with our first, but the most important thing is that we’re through to the quarter final!

I’d pick either Gray or Mahrez as MOTM, as they were the creators today. If it weren’t for them, we’d have had no chances and would have had to take a replay at Bramall Lane.

Hopefully we get drawn against another team that aren’t as good as us!

Didn't watch. Can't complain at quarters!

Easy enough. They defended fairly well but their attack was about as dangerous as a democratic party election campaign. Once we'd got the goal it was game over - just a shame we couldn't force the break through earlier

You can tell who are our weakest defenders are tonight, 3 out of 4 shouldn’t be first choice first team, by a mile.

So you're saying Wes shouldn't be first choice by a mile, you for real
