Genuinely think we could improve in every position. We definately need a rb, cb and lb. With Mahrez going a replacement and a no. 10 also another forward.

Defenders like I’ve beem saying for the past 2.5 bleeding years, it’ll be 3 come the summer.

 

But come the summer a majority of our top players will be leaving whilst we need a serious clear out of deadwood meaning we’ll need to be strengthening pretty much everywhere. 

 

We really have ****ed up with recruitment in recent years.

 

People act like this has crept up on us, it’s been coming ever since we won the league when we failed big time that summer and it seems to have set the tone ever since.

 

A massive job on in the summer with massive concerns and questions that need answering.

Ha ha yeah the thought crossed my mind that I'd written that list a few times now.

 

I'm unsure on the left back, I really think with time the sort of player we need could be Chilwell. Sort out the final ball and the odd brain fart at the back and I think he's more than good enough for what Puel wants. I'd give him more time I think.

Then it depends on which squad players leave, I'd say striker with a physical part of his game if Slimani goes.

Who are the majority of our top players who will be leaving?

Sam Hughes surely is one to promote to the first team from the Under 23s. A goal scoring CB is a valuable commodity, he's scored 10 goals this season, may not need to buy a CB tbh.

If the owners are serious about being a top six club, we should be looking at improving the overall quality of the squad year on year, as we have a very average squad in terms of quality, barring two or 3 stand out players, a lot of the players are lower end premier league, top end championship quality
