Surprising really, there's been alot of red cards recently with Refs looking to stamp authority and setting boundries again early in the season

It’s pissing out now all day. Ideal for a full day of PL action. I turn it on, Watford versus Palace...yeah let’s look what else is on.

Makes a change its not one of the top6 playing in a game

Michael Keane's suffered a fractured skull - https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/everton-fc-latest-news-michael-keane-injury-update-how-long-fractured-skull-a8508596.html

Poor lad was out cold on contact, hit the ground like a sack of spuds and is probably now out for the season. Omens arent good either, Ryan Mason had to retire after fracturing his skull at 26. Really hope he makes it back

edit: just read it now, small hairline fracture, 2-3weeks. Scary one though

It just doesn't seem to be working out for him there does it. Sometimes that just seems to happen at clubs. He's been pretty shaky at Everton to this point and I noticed somewhere yesterday he was given man of the match, though I haven't seen the game myself. Typical of the way it's gone for him there that he'd be man of the match, fracture his skull in the same game and be out for a few weeks.

Wait, what. Claudio at the Watford v Palace game. Seems a strange game for him to go to watch.

He was at Asenal - West Ham yesterday

Watford are Italian owned, he's without a club so maybe a guest to speak with staff there :dunno:

Palace not looking bad at all . Surprising since apart from the brittle Zaha most of their players are a bit shite

They have a team of fairly solid players such as Townsend, McArthur, Van Aahnholt mixed in with some quality in Zaha, Milivojevic and Sakho. Ultimately I think they're an effective if unspectular unit.

Cause I'm not Claudio. If I were I'd be sat on a beach in Italy, eating fresh olives & bread with cured meat

Very true I guess. Just seems a weird game to watch since he has no connection to either club. Likewise with him watching the West Ham game :)

Watford are going to be one of those teams that gets quite a few points and good displays but never on TV and you wonder how they do it.

The NBC coverage is somewhat cringeworthy - just shown people participating in the Dele Alli Challenge before the camera's return to Vicarage Road.

Deary me.
