Jaspa Posted 26 August 2018 Posted 26 August 2018 Surprising really, there's been alot of red cards recently with Refs looking to stamp authority and setting boundries again early in the season

CollinsLCFC Posted 26 August 2018 Posted 26 August 2018 So many empty seats? Is this the norm for Watford?

Omens arent good either, Ryan Mason had to retire after fracturing his skull at 26. Really hope he makes it back edit: just read it now, small hairline fracture, 2-3weeks. Scary one though It just doesn't seem to be working out for him there does it. Sometimes that just seems to happen at clubs. He's been pretty shaky at Everton to this point and I noticed somewhere yesterday he was given man of the match, though I haven't seen the game myself. Typical of the way it's gone for him there that he'd be man of the match, fracture his skull in the same game and be out for a few weeks.
Suzie the Fox Posted 26 August 2018 Posted 26 August 2018 Wait, what. Claudio at the Watford v Palace game. Seems a strange game for him to go to watch.
surrifox Posted 26 August 2018 Posted 26 August 2018 Palace not looking bad at all . Surprising since apart from the brittle Zaha most of their players are a bit shite

Surprising since apart from the brittle Zaha most of their players are a bit shite They have a team of fairly solid players such as Townsend, McArthur, Van Aahnholt mixed in with some quality in Zaha, Milivojevic and Sakho. Ultimately I think they're an effective if unspectular unit.

kingfox Posted 26 August 2018 Posted 26 August 2018 Can see why Sky chose to show this match, this will end in a 22 man brawl.

Very true I guess. Just seems a weird game to watch since he has no connection to either club. Likewise with him watching the West Ham game
Corky Posted 26 August 2018 Posted 26 August 2018 Watford are going to be one of those teams that gets quite a few points and good displays but never on TV and you wonder how they do it.
MC Prussian Posted 26 August 2018 Posted 26 August 2018 The NBC coverage is somewhat cringeworthy - just shown people participating in the Dele Alli Challenge before the camera's return to Vicarage Road. Deary me.

Deary me. It was the same yesterday with the Ali rubbish. Watford. 1-0
MC Prussian Posted 26 August 2018 Posted 26 August 2018 Again, loads of empty seats... Bit sad to see so many people staying away from live football nowadays.
StanSP Posted 26 August 2018 Posted 26 August 2018 Watford seem a decent team. Improving under Gracia.
