It doesn’t. It demonstrates how if you set up against a team in a manner which allows you to SCORE GOALS you may actually do so.

I was commenting on the idea that, comparison of results and how they should pan out, according to the posters logic...

The demise of Manchester United since Fergie called it a day is staggering ….. and also very funny.

Arguably the biggest club in World football now just being the sixth best team in England.

They are now 19 points behind Liverpool and we are not even half way through the season.

To be fair Ferguson's last season seen him, squeeze out the last drop of spirit, character and talent that was left in that squad...

That title was a spot of genius from a top manager,in his last season. ( I respected Fergie, but He was far from being my ideal manager)

He left nothing of worth behind...His era ,and that squads era was finished.

A total rebuild revamp, and finances had to be started.

Moyes got no support,...Van Gaal inherited history but not a top squad, and Ditto for Mourhino!!!

They have better players and quality  than teams outside the top 7, but still full of inconsistencies...and a squad that is short on quality to

strongly ,consistently Compete for that top 4 grouping!!!

Without some mean investment in top players,in all areas they will be handicapped trying to return to repeating past glories....

Same thing happened after Matt Busby left. When you have a club that is successful over a long period and managed by an autocrat the void that is there after they've left is massive.

Yeah but they were his confidantes and he wasn't an autocrat.

Btw, anyone hoping that we might open spuds new stadium ......... i was told today that it would be March at the earliest and it’s possible that the league won’t allow them to move so late into the season .......

Quite right....they shouldn't be allowed to change mid season

Genuinely surprised Mourinho hasn’t been shown the door at Old Trafford.

That wasn’t even close today..

Having Fellaini on the park whilst Pogba sat getting wet in the dugout isn’t clever management.

It’s madness.

There are some serious issues within that club. They're a mess on the pitch and off the pitch too. Woodward and Mourinho and probably several others need to be shown the door

Arry Kane came 3rd in the BBC Sports Personality of the Year tonight..

Voting was close and it was always going to be between Geraint Thomas and Harry Kane for finishing 1st.

If this was the case why didn`t slobber gob finish second ??

Clearly not quite enough Spurs fans voted...

Well done to Mr Thomas - cyclists do seem to do well in this apart from Froome - maybe because people don't see him as British.
